Girls 4x200 finished 7th of Amedee, Lee, Long,and Gayle and 100h Gayle 4th at state meet. Disappointing elements on the boys side but as a team we will learn from it and be back next year. Season 30 as a head track coach is a wrap. Seniors you will never be replaced! I love you all.

State finals tomorrow with boys 4x400 and girls and boys 4x200 and 100h. All school records have been broken in these events. How fast can we go!

Great day at sectionals! On to state with a girls in LJ/ TJ, shot, 800, 100h and 4x200, boys in 400, 4x2,4x4! On to Rome next week.

Region was a success with 6 of 8 relay teams advancing along with 2 in TJ , 800 and 1 in shot, LJ, 200,400, 100h. They are in the top 32 in Ga. Now sectionals at the Ridge next Sat to become a top 16 in the state.

Last event of the state championship and these ladies BROUGHT IT HOME! Started the day with Mataya breaking her own school record in the 300 Hurdles with a 43.66 run. And then with incredible splits, the 4x400 broke the school record and finished 5th! RRHS girls bring home a 9th place finish in the state! So proud of these girls!

Good luck today to the girls in the finals of the state track meet; Mataya Gayle in the 300h joining Mataya are her relay mates in the 4x400 relay are Kelly Miles, Riley Zacherl, and Alyssia Amedee. Cayden Crismon placed 4th in the 3200, Joy Tchamabe 6th in shot, and 4x800 of Crismon, Miles, Caitlin Johnson, and Alyssa Roberts 3rd in the 4x800. Knights currently 7th going into finals today.
