After a long, hot two days at the ballpark, the girls finished as Gold Bracket Finalists! Eight games in this Georgia heat was definitely HOT! ☀️🥎
This season, we’ve been focused on building grit — learning how to keep battling even when we’re down, tired, or things aren’t going our way. That’s been a challenge for us at times, but this weekend the girls showed major growth in that area. From a huge come-from-behind win, to battling until the final out, playing sound defense, and coming through with timely hits, this team showed a lot to be proud of.

#25 Lily McGehee was absolutely on FIRE this weekend! 🔥🔥🔥 She hit THREE OTF home runs in three different games — including a grand slam! Congrats Lily on adding more balls to your home run collection 😎
For now, we celebrate the successes, recover a little (because softball hangovers are definitely real 😳), and get back to work this week. Proud of this group and the growth they continue to show! 💪🥎
