✨Highlighted exercise: Banded Lateral Lunge (Simple but very important when looking to improve Hip Mobility)

🤔Why? Hip mobility is the foundation of athletic performance. It allows athletes to generate maximum power, run faster, and change directions efficiently. By improving range of motion, athletes protect their joints, prevent injuries to the lower back and knees, and optimize their overall body mechanics. Mobility training not only enhances sports performance, but also improves everyday posture and body awareness.

We want our athletes FAST 💨 AND EXPLOSIVE 🧨. SO WE TRAIN BOTH!!

WEEK ✌🏾is off to a great start!! EVERYTHING we teach is INTENTIONAL!!

✨Highlighted exercise: Single Leg Glute Bridge with ISO hold paired with Sled Marches and short sprint

🤔Why? The single leg glute bridge with iso hold is a highly effective movement for isolating the glutes, strengthening the hamstrings, and improving pelvic stability.

Strong hamstrings are vital for improving speed. They are the primary drivers of hip extension (propelling you forward) and act as brakes to safely decelerate the swinging leg. Together with your glutes, they allow you to exert more explosive force into the ground, directly increasing your maximum speed.

TRAINING YOUR ACHILLES IMPROVES SPORTS PERFORMANCE.

As the body’s largest and strongest tendon, explosive movements, such as sprinting, jumping, and rapid changes of direction originate in the calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) and are amplified, stored, and released by the Achilles tendon.

We want our athletes strong, fast, and EXPLOSIVE! Therefore, we put lots of emphasis on preventing as many soft tissue injuries as possible through intentional training and development of not only their athletic performance, but how we prepare the body to handle stress and load.
