Coaching isn’t easy, you have to be mentally tough to do it, especially head coach.
I’ve had parents try to sue me, I’ve been cussed out, threatened, screamed at, judged, talked negatively about, had every decision i made criticized because youll never make everyone happy, and the list goes on and on, all while giving my time and my heart to the teams and players I coached. So if as a head coach I’ve dealt with all of that why did i continue to do so.
For the times I had a player join my team that was thinking about quitting the sport but found their love for it again, to help and watch an athlete gain a new skill, make a big play, to help them grow not only as athletes but as humans, to live in the great moments and sit back and see the joy and smiles on their faces when they get that big hit, make the game winning shot. Those moments make it worth it.

As each player and coach moves onto a new chapter in life, I look back over the years with all the miles traveled, the long hours at tournaments, the practices, the highs and lows, and all the memories made. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
To the coaches that helped me coach, develop, invest in, believe in, and just be there. Thank you, your time invested will last a lifetime to all the players through the years.
Thank you could never be enough for everything you’ve done over the years.

As an athlete you have to be mentally tough because Softball can be a cruel sport. You can smoke the ball but it goes right at someone every time but then you can hit a weak ground ball that turns into an error that clears the bases.

This team had their highs and lows this weekend. They played competitive games and games nothing seemed to go right.
Today was a new day and this team battled against some great competition to finish runner up in their bracket at the Owl City Showcase
