Duck River Raceway Park Recap
We had a Hotrod that just needed a few adjustments made to it from the night before & we could have possibly been up front tonight for the big $10k! Qualified 4th in my group 5th overall of 40 night 1 but just wasnt much passing so pulled in to save the car for tonight. Went out hotlapping with a different gear today but turned to much, went back with the original gear for qualifying but deck height the first time in 3 years was high! Dont ask me how cause we have no clue after 3 years of being checked, deck is as low as it can go, even on the frame we have it drilled to the weld so it cant go any lower. We will have to cut the TBar and make the adjument at the shop just wasnt anytime to do it while we were one of the last 3 cars of 40 so there was no time! I hate the we sat up there all week & all day long just to say we cant qualify for one of our biggest events of the year. Hate it for all my sponsors and crew that helped us get there. We had a top 5 car tonight just didn’t get to show it!

WINNER 🏆
Got it done at Dixie Speedway last night for the Season opener in 602 & 4th in Modified. Plan was to just get car ready for the XR 602 Nationals $50,000 to win next week but we broke a stud on our engine at Tri County Racetrack last week, so went to our home track 3 miles away to Dixie to shake down Engine & its back to winning condition, didnt disappoint. Not a fan at all for drawing heat race positions. Qualify or H/L Q first then HeatRace, not draw for spots in the Heats. Started 3rd in 602 & won the heat. Modified Open Wheel started 9th & finished 4th in heat 1. Started Feature 8th and finished 4th we had a top 3 car, starting hurt us some. Congrats to Zach Pilcher on the W!
