🎓❤️ Tonight we celebrated our senior dancer Keelin Murray as she took the stage for her final solo performance to close out this extraordinary chapter. Keelin has been with CAID Woodstock since the beginning, and within the last four years she has risen through the ranks to become a Preliminary Championship level dancer, winning her Traditional Set competition at Oireachtas and placing in the top 10 for the same category at Nationals the following year.

Keelin juggled a rigorous academic load, research projects that qualified for several prestigious STEM events, speech and debate, student government, AND competitive and performance Irish dance and did it all with the best sportsmanship and positive spirit anyone could ask for. She has shown up for our community as a great role model for our younger dancers and a helper for shows. She is so coachable and kind, and we are unbelievably proud of the heights she has reached in her dance career with us. Even in the face of a challenging injury, Keelin showed up motivated and passionate to every single class, always ready to do whatever she could.

Keelin will be dearly missed in our classes, but we can’t wait to see her open up an amazing new chapter in her life. She will be heading to the University of Georgia this fall to major in Environmental Engineering, and we know she is going to do incredible things.

Spring recital today was an incredible finale for CAID Woodstock’s FOURTH year ❤️ These kiddos performed all day and night and made us beyond proud. It was such a privilege to watch them work together as a team, make new memories, and most importantly have fun! Every single dancer smashed it today.

Thank you to the Woodstock School of Ballet for hosting such a special tradition and giving our kids a chance to show off everything they’ve worked so hard at all year. Thank you to our CAID Woodstock parents for all the long hours you put into supporting these dancers in pursuing their passion. And THANK YOU to all of our students for showing up to every class, performance, and competition with determination and joy. Our community means the world to us!

🇮🇪 Interested in competitive and recreational Irish dance classes in Woodstock? We are offering two free trial dates for youth ages 4 & up and would love to see you there! Our trials will run from 3:30pm - 4:00pm on June 20th and June 27th at the Woodstock School of Ballet. Spots are limited, so fill out our free trial form at www.carpenteririshdance.com/woodstock-free-trial to book your child’s trial ASAP! ❤️
