After 33 incredible years, May 31,2026 will mark the closing of Bowen’s Tiger-Rock Martial Arts in Woodstock. Unfortunately, we’re unable to secure a location to continue.

What a journey it has been!

To every student who ever tied on a white belt, earned a stripe, broke a board, competed in a tournament, achieved Black Belt, or simply found confidence on our mats… thank you. To every parent who trusted us with their child… thank you. To every instructor, staff member, and friend who helped build this school… thank you. I’ve always measured my success by the success you achieved and am deeply proud of each of you!

While this chapter is coming to a close, the story isn’t over.

I’m incredibly grateful that our students will continue their martial arts journey with one of my own longtime students and an outstanding instructor, Mr. Kyle Church, at Holly Springs Tiger-Rock Martial Arts.

This isn’t goodbye for me either. I’ll still be around, teaching, mentoring, cheering you on, and supporting our martial arts family as a Senior Grand Master.

God’s plans don’t always unfold the way we expect, but I trust them completely. 🙏My heart is full of gratitude for the thousands of lives I’ve had the privilege to serve through martial arts as Woodstock grew from unknown to one of the top places to raise a family in the United States.

If you’ve ever been part of Bowen’s Tiger-Rock, thank you for enriching my life more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
