💙 Remembering Randy Schultz - Woodstock Little League celebrates the life of Randy Schultz.

Randy was one of the true “ironmen” of youth baseball. If there was an open game, Randy was the guy stepping up when no one else could, or would. For more than 20 years, he was a steady fixture in our baseball community, and countless games were played simply because Randy was willing to show up.

He didn’t need recognition or a spotlight. He just saw a need and stepped in. That kind of commitment leaves a lasting impact.

Randy’s family will be celebrating his life on Saturday, September 26th from 3:00–6:00 PM at Justen Funeral Home in McHenry. Afterward, everyone is welcome to join the family for food and drinks at The Snuggery Restaurant & Bar in McHenry.

If you can find some time to stop by, share a story, offer your support, or simply show a little of our appreciation for everything Randy gave to youth baseball, it would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you, Randy, for more than 20 years of showing up, stepping up, and helping make youth baseball happen. You will be missed. 💙⚾

Tom Neuman aka Coach Grandpa

Coach Grandpa is truly one of a kind! His positive fun attitude is contagious both on and off the field. He is always willing to jump in and help with drills at practice and willing to help the players on the field during games. All the players love his pitching too!

Our Juniors Blue team threw a no-hitter last night! ⚾️💙

They’re off to a great start this season, playing hard, competing together, and most importantly — having a blast along the way!

🌟 Player of the Week🌟
Jaxon Davis

This week we recognize Jaxon for his hard work and attitude on and off the field. Jaxon has been playing with WLL for a couple years as well as our Woodstock Heat 10u team. He always shows up ready to give it his all. He plays multiple positions and gives 100% no matter where he's at on the field, including on the bench cheering for his team! He is a younger player playing up an age group and holds his own each season.
We can't wait to see where this season and beyond takes him!

Minors Blue aka Blue Lightning

Coached by Staci Krejci, Amanda Foat, Austin Silva and Tom Neuman ( Coach Grandpa)

These boys have been so fun to watch over the last several weeks! The team has a good mix of returning WLL athletes and new faces which creates a fun learning environment for all!

The team has learned so much in such a short time and has really become a cohesive group already and having fun doing so.

The team is 3-0 for the season and we can't wait to see more growth from each player and the team as a whole.

Way to go Blue Lightning, keep working hard!

Kristen Martens

​As a new coach this year, Kristen has definitely stepped up into that unfamiliar role and provided needed help on the field. Learning the ropes alongside the team, she brings incredible energy, patience, and encouragement to every practice and game. Her willingness to jump into a new challenge sets a fantastic example for the players, and we are so grateful to have her support on the field this season!
