Woodstock Youth Baseball The Woodstock Little League has divisions for boys and girls from ages 7-16, along with a Challenger Division for players of all ages

It is the goal of the Woodstock Little League to teach all kids the values of sportsmanship and teamwork and the rewards they bring. Support from family and friends is a big help. We encourage family and friends to come out and cheer on the kids at every game. There is nothing a kid takes more pride in than catching a fly ball, striking out a batter, or getting a base hit and having someone there to see it.

Our Woodstock Little League All-Star teams are preparing to represent our community this summer, and you can help support their journey while getting a chance to take home some cash!

We're hosting a 50/50 Raffle, with the winner receiving 50% of the total pot and the remaining proceeds helping offset expenses for our All-Star players.

Woodstock Baseballs featured team of the week:
Intermediate Flying Squirrels

Currently sitting at 6-1-1 on the season, the Intermediate Flying Squirrels have been a force to be reckoned with! This team also made it to the semi-finals in their mid-season tournament after going undefeated in pool play. They have three games remaining in their regular season, all coming this week.

This team doesn't back down from a challenge! They've had two big come-from-behind wins this year, including a walk-off victory during tournament play. When a lot of teams would hang their heads, the Flying Squirrels rally together and come back fighting.

What makes this group so special is the way they support one another. With a roster made up of both veteran Little Leaguers and players experiencing baseball for the very first time, they've proven that effort, attitude, and teamwork can accomplish incredible things. Whether it's cheering on a teammate after a tough inning, picking each other up after mistakes, or celebrating each other's successes, this group truly plays as one team.

The Flying Squirrels embody what Little League is all about—hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship, and having fun. They have shown all season long that where there's a will, there's a way. No matter the score or the situation, this team believes in each other and never quits. Their growth, determination, and positive attitude have made them a joy to watch and a team that represents Woodstock Little League with pride.

🌟⚾ PLAYER OF THE WEEK ⚾🌟

Congratulations to this week's Player of the Week, LIAM DiTUSA!

Now in his second season with WLL, Liam has truly had a breakout year with the Intermediate Flying Squirrels. A quiet but steady presence on the team, Liam brings positivity, consistency, and reliability to everything he does. Whether he's stepping into the batter's box, making a play in the field, or supporting his teammates, coaches know they can always count on him when it matters most.

One of Liam's greatest strengths is his willingness to do whatever the team needs. This season, that attitude led him to discover a new favorite position- first base! Despite having never played there before, Liam embraced the challenge and has thrived with hard work and determination.

While he may not always show his excitement, the smile that appears after a big play or great game is something his coaches and teammates love to see. His positive attitude, team-first mentality, and commitment to improving make him a fantastic example of what youth baseball is all about.

Congratulations, Liam! WLL is lucky to have you, and we can't wait to see what the rest of your season holds. Keep up the great work! 👏⚾💙

🔥 This Week’s Volunteer Spotlight 🔥

The 2026 season has been filled with memorable moments. Heat brought home hardware from multiple tournaments, expanded and improved our off-season training program, supported organizations like Turning Point and The Salvation Army, and, most importantly, watched our players grow as athletes, teammates, and young people.

As we begin looking toward the end of the season, we want to recognize a few volunteers who have made a tremendous impact on our organization:

⭐ Neal Wagner
Neal is one of those people who always seems to be wherever he's needed. He's an Assistant Coach for both 9U and 16U - Orange, helps keep GameChanger running smoothly, and never hesitates to jump in and lend a hand at League events. His willingness to serve wherever needed has made a difference across the organization.

⭐ Jackie Lawler
Jackie has been a driving force behind the scenes for 11U Blue. From helping manage and track team finances to supporting fundraising efforts, she's helped keep the team organized and moving forward. The work she does may not always be visible, but its impact is felt every day.

⭐ Mike Clarke
Coach Clarke's leadership and steady hand have helped guide tremendous growth of the 12U team. This week he's also leading the Kishwaukee Conference Futures Tournament for 12U teams, continuing to create opportunities and positive experiences for young athletes throughout the area.

⭐ Jon Van Nevel
Jon has become an invaluable part of the 13U Heat team. In addition to serving as an Assistant Coach, he coordinates team schedules, tournaments, and countless behind-the-scenes logistics that keep the season running smoothly. Beyond baseball, Jon regularly creates opportunities for players and families to connect away from the field, helping strengthen friendships and build the team culture that makes our League special. As a parent of two players in the program, his commitment to creating a positive experience for all of our families is evident in everything he does.

👏 These volunteers represent the spirit of Woodstock Baseball, but they certainly aren't alone. We are incredibly grateful for all of our coaches, team parents, board members, and volunteers who have invested their time, energy, and passion into making the 2026 season a success.

Because of you, our players have had opportunities to compete, learn, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We've seen A LOT of good baseball the last few days hosting the first ever Illinois District 13 Mid-Season AAA Tournament. Thank you to all the teams who have trusted us to be a small part of their players' baseball experience this year.

BRODY FISHER AND ARCHIE LEITZEN

These two have emerged as leaders and a steadying presence for the team this season. Whether it's at practice or on game day, they consistently show up ready to work, compete, and improve. Their dedication and positive attitudes have helped set the tone for the entire team!

Brody and Archie have become a powerful 1-2 punch both at the plate and on the mound, bringing aggressiveness, consistency, and confidence every time they take the field. More importantly, they make everyone around them better by leading through their actions and setting a great example both on and off the field.

Keep up the great work, Brody and Archie! We're proud of the players and teammates you've become. 👏⚾💙

⚾ Volunteer of the Week! The spotlight goes to.... The one and only GOAT!... Will MaKay Nearly 16 years ago, Will McKay took on the role as the President of the Woodstock Little League. His dedication towards the organization and passion for the game is evident in the countless hours he puts into his role as the President. He has selflessly committed much of his time and effort into to ensuring the players and the League itself continue to reach its highest potential. Almost daily, you will find Will either coaching his teams, helping other teams with their practices, or simply enjoying watching whatever team is playing that day. During his downtime, he is constantly considering ways to enhance the experience for the players and their families. His help in providing opportunities for the players to improve their skills, build lasting friendships, and enjoy baseball is insurmountable. He has been the heart of the Woodstock Little League, and his hard work is greatly appreciated more than he probably knows. ⚾
