The Thunder faced two tough losses back on the court after break at the Hampshire Holiday tournament.

We lost 47-18 vs. Hampshire and 36-22 vs. Winnebago.

The scores didn’t reflect that the girls did a good job hustling, adjusting to multiple defenses, and defensive backcourt pressure in both games. The girls had some great ball movement and got some good looks inside.

Leading scorers vs. Hampshire were Rylee McCauley (5) and Maddie Tolentino-Siazon (4).

Leading scorers vs. Winnebago were Jade Slinko (12) and Bella Ivers (6).

One more game tomorrow at 10:15!

JV lose on the road to Johnsburg (45-32). The girls worked hard to respond to a fast paced Johnsburg offense. Leading scorers were Bella Ivers (12), Jade Slinko (7), and Maddie Tolentino-Siazon (6).

JV1 win against Harvard at home (47-13). The girls worked hard, even with shots not falling at the beginning. They hustled on defense and had some great looks on inbound plays. All players who played scored in the game. Leading scorers were Bella Ivers (14) and Lili Debolt (9).

JV2 win their first game of the season against Harvard (22-9). The girls hustled on offense and defense, getting some good looks inside in the post and some breakaway layups. Leading scorers were Megan Tolentino-Siazon (7) and Abby Howell (6).

JV win their home opener against Plano (48-11). The girls hustled hard, pushed up the court, and applied pressure to the Reapers on offense. Way to get the W ladies! Leading scorers were Bella Ivers (19), Maddie Tolentino-Siazon (9), and Dariya Cager and Jade Slinko with (7).

JV Thunder get a win in their first conference match up of the season vs Marengo (31-21). The girls hustled on defense, worked hard to get some good looks inside, and hit some key shots from the arc. Leading scorers were Bella Ivers (9), Lili Debolt (7), and Rylee McCauley (6). Great job tonight ladies!

The Thunder worked hard to beat McHenry 36-32 putting them in 1st place in their pool. The Thunder got the ball moving on offense, worked through their plays, and got some good looks inside. They responded well to pressure on defense and adjusted as needed. Bella Ivers led the team with 12 points and Dariya Cager and Jade Slinko each had 8.

In the second game of the day, the Thunder faced a battle dropping to Vernon Hills 16-38. The girls had to change some things up on defense and offense to get through the pressure, but Vernon Hills pulled away. Bella Ivers led with 8 and Maddie Tolentino-Siazon pitched in 4.

Overall, JV Thunder placed 1st in their pool and 2nd in the tournament. Great job ladies!

Strong showing from the JV squad tonight with a 47–15 win over Grayslake North. Ivers paced the offense with 19, and McCauly with 11 as the team controlled the game on both ends of the floor.

JV2 crushed the Harvard Hornets at home (47-13). The girls played together, hustled hard, and played good defense. There were great minutes off the bench! Leading scorers were Maddie Tolentino-Siazon (12), Abby Schleiffer (10), Rylee Martin (6), Dariya Cager (6), and Ryann Cunningham (4)!

JV2 lose against Lakes (47-38). The girls played a good competitive game and hustled hard. We were down players and each girl got a lot of playing time and got thrown into some new positions today. Way to help out your team! Leading scorers were Megan Tolentino-Siazon (13) and Jayla Martyne (11).

JV1 win against Sandwich at home (38-15). The girls hustled hard, worked on ball movement on offense, and played together. Leading scorers were Gwen Lalor (12) and Emma Borta (10).

JV1 won against Woodstock in their first crosstown meet up (31-33) on Friday! The girls hustled hard until the very end of the nail biter. Way to go ladies bringing home the W! Leading scorers were Alyssa Martin and (14) Gwen Lalor (14).
