First race as a Californian 🏞️ and Masters (aka old) 👵🏽
Moved to Palo Alto with , turned 40, and ran the Woodside Ramble 50K through the redwoods to win a coaster for my age group 🍻.

Always Be Climbing: Tamalpa 50K 🏞️ & Williamsburg Bridge race 🌉
Back to back weekends of running some hills: pacing my brother in his first trail ultra through the Marin headlands with 6500 ft of elevation and then racing 19 lengths of the Williamsburg Bridge which was a random distance between 10-40 miles announced 2 hours into the race 🙃

Redemption at the Miwok 100k last weekend!
Improved my time from last year by 2+ hours, finished 31st / 348 and earned another Western States qualifier 🏞️
I fueled and hydrated better (80-100g carbs, 24oz /hr) and kept pushing until the very end, with great pacing by my little big bro for the last 14 miles 🔥
What a celebration to see Orion & Oria and after the finish, and I'm so grateful for the kind volunteers, especially the ones helping me with my drop bags at Tennessee Valley 🙏🏽
I don't take for granted that every mile and every finish line is a gift 🏃🏽

Ted Corbitt 50K honoring the father of long distance running ✊🏽
Thank you to and for leading this tribute run from Prospect Park to Ted Corbitt Way in the Bronx!
Ted was the founding president of , the first African American to represent USA in the Olympic marathon, and invented course measurement standards and age group competition, among many other accomplishments as a runner, physical therapist, and teacher 🙏🏽

Took the scenic route to meet our niece Oria Rumi 🏞️

Finished the Miwok 100k, my 2nd Western States qualifier and 8th ultramarathon. Highlight was seeing , Orion & Oria, waiting patiently in the rain and cheering at mile 49 - thank you 💛

Boston Marathon #11 ✌🏽💙💛

So grateful that I am still able to toe the line at this magical race and finish with a BQ 🦄

Huge congrats to all the finishers yesterday and in the @26.truemarathon on Saturday 👊🏽

Especially proud of my amazing athletes and for finishing strong, with some more PRs and BQs too🏅
