In the last 30 years I have had the opportunity to get to know and work with many athletes. Also during that same time period I have look for the answer to "How do you make that athlete better?" I have experimented with everything that has come around, and all my experiences led me to the same answer. #1 sound fundamentals and technique are the main ingredient, #2 Max effort and quality is more

important that quantity, and #3 including many variations of the same thing to prevent boredom and lack of motivation. This site will also follow the budding athletic careers of Skylar and Caleb, our kids.

Just had 2 vaulters competing at Bay Area today. Neither vaulter missed a bar during the entire competition. Both won Gold, one PR’d and one jumped at PR. And that is how they practice. Had a great warm up, both passed bars after opening height. GOOD DAY!!
Consistency in practice will always carry over to meet. Glen and Rocky did great job hosting meet, was a blast as I knew it would be.

Bailey wins Summer Sizzler Elite Flight at Bay Area. Over 12-6 easy for the win, 2 solid attempts at 13’!!!!! 2 good weeks in a row, consistency is the key!!!
