Coaching looks easy from the outside — until you live inside it. People see the games, not the sacrifices. They see the decisions, not the hours behind them. Criticism comes free, stress comes daily, and sleep comes later than it should. That’s the reality.

You don’t get instant results. You don’t please everyone. You don’t control every outcome. Growth is slow. Pressure is constant. And your family has to carry part of the weight with you, even when they didn’t sign up for the job.

But if you truly love it, you keep pouring into it. You keep teaching, guiding, building, shaping. You keep showing up for kids who need structure, leadership, belief, and accountability more than they need applause.
