Construction at Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex in 2026 has focused largely on improving the park entrance and preparing the site for the next phase of development.

The roadway approaching the park has received new pavement, along with concrete curbs and sidewalks, creating a more finished and accessible entrance to the park.

Additional improvements this year include reinforcement and landscaping of the retaining wall located behind the maintenance building and adjacent to the restrooms. The auxiliary field parking lot has also been completed, with 57 parking spaces now striped and marked.

Work is currently underway on one of the two soccer field parking lots. At the same time, crews are completing groundwork and site preparation in advance of Phase II construction, which will include development of the soccer fields.

Each of these improvements brings Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex another step closer to becoming a fully developed community park where people of all ages can play, gather, and enjoy the outdoors.

We are thrilled to announce a generous donation from the Port of Woodland, who have graciously provided a brand-new scoreboard and electrical hookups for our multi-use field! This incredible contribution will enhance the experience for all future visitors and athletes at Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex.

A huge shoutout to Advanced Signs of Woodland for their outstanding support in assembling and installing the scoreboard. Their expertise and dedication have ensured everything is set up perfectly and ready for use when Phase I of Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex opens.

This community effort exemplifies the power of collaboration and support, and we couldn't be more grateful. We look forward to the park opening when everyone can check out the new scoreboard and see the difference it makes to our new park!

Phase I road and parking lot construction at Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex is back on track and in full swing. Colf Construction of Woodland is doing the current scope of work which includes paving, curbing, and storm drainage. 🚧

Bidding for the next phase of work at Scott Hill Park has officially closed! We're thrilled to announce that the upcoming work will include 700 feet of street paving, curbs, a storm drainage catch basin, and the completion of the auxiliary field parking lot. Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for construction to begin mid-April!

Update on Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex. The park is nearing the end of the permit renewal process with the City of Woodland. The permit renewal will allow the Rotary park project team to proceed with grant requests and continue park construction.
