It was a fun-filled evening at Yolo Fliers Club at the New Member Welcoming Reception & Happy Hour. Club leadership coupled with key staff members warmly welcomed new members and their families.

Informative presentations were provided by YFC Board VP Sam Smith (who also chairs the club’s Membership committee), Board Secretary Kathy Stalling (chair of the Social committee), General Manager Tim Pulley, Head Pro Mark Toscano, and longtime member Wally Sheffield who wrapped up the presentations with an upbeat and interesting historical perspective on the club.

Delicious hors d’oeuvres were enjoyed along with beverages of choice. After the presentations new members joined other members in a three-hole horserace event. Next, it was into the bar/grille area with entertainment provided by the musical duo of singer and guitarist GM Tim Pulley, joined by board VP Sam Smith on the drums. As an added treat, Bar Manager Enrique Nunez joined in for a song or two. 

No question, a good time was had by all! Special thanks is extended to the membership & social committees and to the entire staff for creating a memorable evening for new club members.

YFC Members, you are all invited to our annual concert! Bring your friends and family on September 19th. Gates open at 5 pm, and our very own Tim Pulley will kick off the live entertainment at 5:45 pm. Following that, the country/rock band Left of Centre, based out of Reno, NV, will take the stage at 7 pm.

Make sure to grab your tickets soon, as the sale will end in two weeks!

As the back-to-school season creeps up like a pop quiz, we know it can be a wild ride for families. To help you chill out and enjoy some quality time without the homework stress, we invite you to our Friday night pasta dinner at the club! Come for the carbs, stay for the laughter (and maybe a few jokes that are cheesier than the garlic bread). Let's noodle around and make some good memories together- because the only thing you should be grading is how good the marinara sauce is! We can't wait to see you there!

It’s the 4th of July and Happy USA 250th Birthday! A warm shout-out to all who participated in the red, white & blue golf cart decorating contest at YFC this morning.

Congratulations to members Mike & Tammy Domgaard, for claiming first place honors. In addition to their phenomenally decorated cart, Mike made sure to have patriotic sound effects incorporated.

Thank you to all who participated in the contest, which was followed by golf and the traditional YFC barbecue by the pool. A special thank you is extended to dedicated members Kathy and Greg Stalling for the holiday decorations and game set up for the kids, at poolside.
