For the first time in school history…The Wolves Co-Ed Tennis team is G.E.L CHAMPS!!!
The boys team hadn’t won since 2010 and there isn’t any documentation of the girls ever winning a title.
Great job players and coaches. Keep it up and get ready for playoffs.

Wolves track had a great day last out of the track last week. Frosh/Soph boys won their division. The Wolves had lots of PRs too!

Varsity boys:
Jayden Y took 3rd in shot put
Jacob C took 1st in disc with a PR of 121’2”
Anthony R ran a PR in the 100 at 11.77 and 200 at 24.13
Sawyer took 2nd in 100 hurdles and 3rd in 300 hurdles

Varsity Ladies:
Tara took 5th in 100 with a PR of 13.51, 2nd in Long jump with a pr of 15’9.75” and 4th in 200
Lucy took 3rd in the 400
Aurora took 2nd in the 800, 2nd in the 1600, and 4th in the 3200
Our 4x1 team took 2nd

Frosh/Soph Boys:
In the 100 we took 3rd-5th: Emiliano Sanchez PR 12.26, Jeremiah 12.30, Austin PR 12.38
In the 200 we took 2nd and 3rd:
Jeremiah PR 25.39, Austin PR 25.45
In the 400, Jeremiah won PR 55.45 and Austin 4th PR 1:02.44
In the 3200, we took 3-5:
Alex Gomez Lopez, Michael Jordon, Carlos Alvarez
In shot, Emiliano Sanchez took 2nd PR 37’9.5” and Anthony Felix took 5th PR 33’5.5”
In disc, Emiliano Sanchez took 3rd PR 82’11” and Anthony Felix took 5th PR 76’3”
Matthew Thompson won Pole Vault with a PR 7’6”

WHS tennis celebrate their SENIOR in the only way they know how…. with a VICTORY!! The Wolves defeated Natomas 5-4. Congrats to our seniors for all their hard work and dedication and for representing WHS with class. GO WOLVES!!

Wolves tennis is on fire!! They defeated Casa Roble today in league play as they continue to strive for a league title. Great progress Wolves but the job is not done!!

Keep it up boys!!

The Wolves traveled up to Sutter and came away with a spilt.

JV lost a close battle 2-1. Blake Hembree kept the Wolves in the game pitching 5 great innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 2. Mason Anderson was 2x4.

Varsity came away with a stressful 6-4 victory. David Tanner was in command on the mound pitching 6.1 innings scattering 4 hits with 5 strikeouts.

Riley Salvemini was 2x4 but Cohen Dwyer had himself a day and was the BIG HAT player of the game. He was 3x4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.

The Wolves will host Sutter to wrap up the series on Friday @ Clark Field, JV @ 4:00 and Varsity @ 7:00
