👀 POV: You ask your trainer if you can work on stops & you get your very 1st sliding stop 🛑🤩

Karleigh Beauchamp and Willow found their groove this week and had a huge breakthrough in their stops! I think the whole barn heard me scream when they laid this little set of 11’s down! 🎉

☀️ A hot one in Elverta this weekend, but these ladies showed up ready to work! We focused on some flatwork, trot and lope overs, and introduced a brand-new bridge to these horses. Every horse and rider stepped up, pushed through the heat, and finished stronger than they started. Proud of this crew and the progress they’re making! 💪

💪🏼Shannon and Roxy are leveling up!
Today’s focus was teaching Roxy to hold her frame both in and out of transitions, while maintaining that same balance and softness over poles. The goal is collection and staying connected without getting strung out or stiff. The standard has changed and they are ready to progress.

Another great Ranch Trail night with these ladies! Every obstacle is a chance to build confidence, improve communication with your horse, and become a better team.
Love seeing the progress and positive attitudes. Appreciate you all coming out 🖤

TOMORROW - One of our most requested topics is finally here!

Free to attend, member and non members are welcome.

Caring for an aging horse comes with new questions about nutrition, weight, joint health, supplements, and overall wellness. Join us for one of LBHA's most requested educational topics as Michelle Reeser shares practical, science based guidance you can put to use right away.

Michelle is a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and Registered Veterinary Technician at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as the owner and coach of Forza Equine. Her unique background combines veterinary medicine with hands on experience training and showing ranch horses, giving her a practical perspective that horse owners can trust.

Best of all, this is not a product pitch. Rather than promoting a specific feed or supplement line, Michelle will provide an unbiased, well rounded approach to senior horse nutrition and wellness, helping you make informed decisions based on your horse's individual needs.

This has been one of our most requested topics, and we're excited to bring this opportunity to our members. Bring your questions and join us for an informative evening!

Thankful to be able to do what I love—working with horses, helping riders grow, and building something meaningful through Forza Equine—all in a country that gives us the freedom to chase those dreams. Grateful for the horses, the clients, the community, and the opportunities that make this life possible. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸🐴 Happy 250th ‘Merica!!! Let’s gooo!

✨Leveling up with Cass and Willow 🍅 as we move into the next phase of building softness, balance, and topline strength at the lope.

This mare has reached the point where she understands how to give to the bridle, move off the leg, and carry herself with softness and responsiveness at the trot. The foundation work is there.

Now the focus shifts to helping her carry those same qualities into her upward transitions and lope work. The goal isn’t simply to lope more—it’s to develop the strength, balance, and understanding to maintain softness through the transition and continue traveling with self-carriage once she’s there. The expectations have been raised.
