Another successful Soar Above the Clouds Disc Golf Open in the books! Thank you to all those that came out to support the course this year. Every dollar made will go right back in to maintaining and improving the course that we all love!
We had some really incredible players out there and ended up with a tie for first place. Sam Fournier and Mike Schoudel both scored an impressive 22 on their best 9 hole round. Great job guys!

The 2023 Soar Above the Clouds Disc Golf Open will be held on Wednesday, July 5th from 10:00-2:00. We will have some really great looking discs to sell this year, including discs from the the all new 2023 Discraft Tour Series, all selling below MSRP! And, for the first time, you can buy your discs a day early as we will have a tent set up at Memorial Park for the 4th of July celebration! This year, all proceeds and donations will go to course maintenance and improvements.

As always, this will be open play and open to players of ALL skill levels. Along side the free and open play, we will hold a very laid back tournament with prizes for the leaders of each division. There will also be giveaways for the mini games and raffle. See you all on the 5th!

Thank you to everybody that came out and enjoyed the Soar Above the Clouds event on the 5th! We had a beautiful day and we all had a blast! How nice was it to break in those new baskets? We also had about a dozen or so players come back after the symphony was over and played some night golf with the glow discs and LEDs on the discs and baskets. That was amazing! Got some feedback and we will be planning on ordering up some really nice plastic next year. Looking forward to it already!

Nick Naples’ Soaring Eagles Disc Golf Course now has new baskets!!!!

Thank you so much to Lara and JJ for stepping up and making this happen! Thank you to every who helped out and thank you to trashpandadiscgolf for sponsoring the Nick’s Better Baskets Event.

We never imagined that this little course would ever receive so much love. 10 years ago, Nicholas Naples designed and built this course for his Eagle Project. Since then, this course has had countless players, and has undoubtedly grown the sport and the community.

The baskets are now fully installed and ready for play. Come on out to the Soar Above the Clouds Event on July 5th and lets break in these new baskets! Looking forward to seeing you all out there soon.

Love the course, but tired of chain outs? Excited to announce that some very generous local disc golfers have reached out and offered to run a special fundraising event which will replace the current baskets with the Prodigy T2s! These baskets will be a major improvement and will help to refresh the course and give it new life. We are so thankful for the wonderful disc golf community that is looking to improve the course and can’t wait for The Nick’s Better Basket Event on June 12th!
