GOA Recommends Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a warm winter get away! We took a direct flight there from Denver over the Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful trip. We stayed at the Westin Resort located close to Vallarta Marina and on the Pacific beach. The resort staff and everyone in Puerto Vallarta were very friendly and we felt completely safe the entire time (avoid sales people after leaving airport baggage claim). The Westin Resort is a gorgeous property with amazing staff, delicious food and great rooms with beautiful views to the pool and ocean. We enjoyed a city tour and “Rhythms of the Night” boat ride/spectacular night time show/dinner overlooking the ocean.
