Last hike of the year! Jameson and Pippa got out in some light rain and had a blast checking out Caballero Canyon. The creek was flowing and the area is full of life! They also learned about one of nature's climbers, Wild Cucumber plants. Their little tendrils reach out for branches to curl around so they can climb higher to get more sunshine! ☀️

Emi and Orion had the option of doing the same route they've done before or a more challenging route that was steep! They chose the challenging one and did so great! They said the view was worth the hard work! 🙌🏼

CONGRATULATIONS LOGAN!! This 17 year old got 2nd place overall at the Ray Miller 30k!! He started running trails with Trail Kidz, when he was 8, and absolutely fell in love with it! He's been a dedicated runner ever since and it's totally paying off! Can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the future! -Andrew

Elijah's first hike was a great success! He had a blast and memorized 4 different plants and flowers we saw out there. "People who don't go out on hikes are missing out on the world!" I couldn't agree more, my dude! ☺️

At Trail Kidz, our hikes are more than just a walk in nature. We make learning fun by sharing cool nature facts! Pippa and Jameson discovered the names of new plants on our hike and learned about the tallest living things on Earth, the Redwoods! After hiking 250 feet up the mountain, they were amazed to find out that those giant Redwoods soar over 100 feet higher than where we stood, looking down toward where we had come from!

On a hike last week, we found party balloons stuck in some bushes in the mountains outside of LA! Remember, when you’re done, pop those balloons or think about using eco-friendly decorations instead. Let’s keep our trails clean and nature happy! 🌿👍🏼

Reaching new heights with Trail Kidz! 🏔️ Logan recently conquered the second highest summit in SoCal, San Jacinto Peak. (10,834 ft) Let’s keep climbing those mountains! 🚀
