Long Hu Quan (Dragon-Tiger Fist) is an ancient school of martial arts based on images of 5 animals (Tiger, Dragon, Monkey, Snake and Crane) originated in Northern part of Tibet developed within community of Dungan people (tribes residing in that area and been historically known for their skills in martial arts and farming). In times of discrimination by chairman Mao followers (in beginning of 50's

) - big part of dungan people immigrated to a former USSR area: Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Sifu Essen Ismailov was a little boy when he with other members of his community moved over mountains and settled in Kazakhstan and later moved to Kyrgyzstan, where he lives now. He is a lineage holder of family wushu school - Long Hu Quan and over long period of time teaching he was training Soviet special forces, grew many champions in full contact types of competition. This school of martial art is a complete system of knowledge including qigong, healing arts, spiritual and psychological development, not limited to fighting skills only. In thi ssense real meaning of gong fu is practiced (time and efforts applied to development and mastering skill). We started now classes with adults and look forward to start working with students of different age and gender group.
