Thanks to our hardworking crew Prospect Mountain Ski Area the work on Troll Road is done ✅! The trail has been widened to improve drainage and allow for more natural snow ❄️ to hit the trail.

Excavator alert‼️ The widening of Troll Road and drainage improvements began today! The trees that were cut in early April have been turned into firewood for the lodge. Ski season will be here before we know it!! 😊❄️

Our Prospect Mountain snowmaking committee convened today, in person and via Zoom, to make plans for an amazing winter ahead! We have a working goal to be open with skiing by Thanksgiving, even if just on a small manmade loop (hopefully Mother Nature will provide more!), and have plenty of snow to host New England Nordic Ski Association 50th anniversary of the Bill Koch Festival in March. Here’s to lots of ❄️❄️❄️ on our PMA trails!!

Steve and Mike have been busy this spring clearing trees to widen the Troll 🧌 Road trail, allowing more room for both recreational and race skiing, and improving the drainage for better snow coverage.

Prospect Has Concluded Its 2025-26 Season

Thank you to all our passholders and day-pass skiers; this season was excellent for Prospect. We received 164 inches of snow and were open for 101 days. Our staff did a fantastic job grooming, running the restaurant, renting skis, giving lessons, and, most importantly, providing friendly customer service.

We were proud to host the Massachusetts high school championships, the Williams College carnival, and several Bill Koch Youth Ski League events again this year. We also offered three free “learn to ski” days for local elementary schools, as well as two affordable learn-to-ski clinics for our adult community.

Prospect is home to several teams: the Williams College Ephs; the Mount Anthony Union High School Nordic team (whose boys’ team won the Vermont state championship); the Mount Greylock Nordic ski team (which won the Massachusetts state championship); and our youth Bill Koch Ski League.

We plan to make trail improvements on Troll Road and other areas during the off-season. Thank you to our many volunteers. Prospect could not operate without the outstanding volunteer support we receive from many of you.
