We had a fun weekend at the chick! We struggled a little but that’s fishing. Braxton and Hayden had a nice one that was 3.52. Jase and Wyatt had a 3.14. Bowden and Bryson had one 2.50. Cullen and Canon had 3 for 6.95. The memories we made will last a lifetime. Thanks to all our sponsors for making this possible!

We fished Old Hickory this weekend and it was just as tuff as always. But we did have one team that showed out! Bowden and Bryson had 8.65 pounds for 4th place! That was a big weight even for the high school. I’m super proud of these guys. Cullen and Canon had one fish for 1.86 and to be honest I’m proud for that one lol. My hat is off to all the teams that fished and their boat captains.

Center Hill Championship! Our teams had a tuff tournament as a whole, but a great season so fare! Three out of four teams weighed fish. The 4th team had a very close fish that almost measured. We can’t choose what bites us. We are looking forward to the state championship in May! Winner of that tournament moves on to the National tournament. Our boys are working hard and getting better all the time.

I do want to that our sponsors! Without them we can afford to do what we do. Our boys have represented your logos very well this year. I couldn’t be more proud of our sponsors and our kids!!!

This weekend was our Persy priest tournament. It was a really tuff tournament for our school except for Bowden White and Bryson Gunter. They had a keeper that got them 22nd place out of 64 boats. Great job from these two on a super challenging day. Check out the new hats and bogins!!! Thank you Haley!!!!

Cannon Country Jr Bass teams fished Tim’s Ford lake this weekend. We had five teams fishing. Cullen Bryson & Canon Andrews captured some nice bass that gave them first place with 15.59. Second place was 7 pounds. Very proud of the guys! Bowden White & Bryson Gunter placed 6th with 3.09. Very proud of them too! We had another team that suffered some engine problems and had to leave early. Remaining two boats had some bad luck keeping them hooked up, some days things just don’t go your way. Super super proud of our whole team!!! CANNON COUNTY took “Top School” honors!!!!!!!! This got our school a nice big plaque and $200 bucks to go two to our fishing program!

We fished Dale Hollow today. We had 4 teams compete and three weighed fish on a super tuff day. Cullen and Cannon placed 3rd with 5.44, Colton and Ace had 15th with 1.48, and Bowden and Bryson got 21st with 1 pound. Super proud of these guys today.
