🚨UPDATE🚨

So as all of you know who have followed us for while, we have been a fitness coaching brand. We have specialized in, personal training and online coaching. We love helping people it’s what we do.

As a brand we have a decided to go in a different direction within the fitness space!

So over the next few weeks you will see some big changes:
- we will be announcing our long term plan
- you will see a name change
- you will start seeing more and more content

We are so excited to start rolling everything out and are VERY confident that we will be helping even more people with our new direction!

How’s your nutrition?

Are you doing the things necessary to get the results you’re looking for?!

Or…

Are you using some of the excuses listed above?

Here’s the thing…anyone can do it. You can easily google a plan, and follow it, and get results.

Here’s the problem, most people won’t. Most people won’t make the effort the dial in their nutrition, and then they will get mad about not getting the results they want, causing them to quit.

So how do we change that?!

Go find a professional to help you!

It could be us, it could be a trainer or coach at your gym, it could be a dietician, regardless, find someone who can give you everything you need and hold you accountable to it.

Accountability is key! Especially if we struggle to stay on track alone.

There’s no shame in asking for help!

Let’s talk about the journey.

The journey to be healthy is commonly mistaken as a straight line.

But it’s not that at all.

It’s a roller coaster of weight loss, gain, no change, etc.

And that’s something that takes a long time to learn and accept, but once you accept it, the journey becomes more clear.

Our health is worth the wait, worth the ups and downs, and worth the effort.

Everyone has their own story of this. Of a time where they were trying to get healthy but got discouraged by the ups and downs of the journey.

We are here to tell you…stay the course.

Consistent, strong effort over time will result in the results you are looking for!

I was looking for a client but I got a best friend 💙

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Kristen Brandt

Oh, my love. You’ve been training with me for quite a long time now. It’s been 2 1/2 years and I can still remember what we talked about during your consult.

You came to me for a problem you didn’t even know about.

You thought you were there to lose weight but what you really needed was accountability.

You needed someone to push you.

You needed someone who cared; a friend.

I never thought that our relationship would turn into you being one of my Bridesmaids. You’re genuinely one of my best friends in the world. I’d do anything for you, even if that meant adding a Jonas Brothers song to my POP class just to make you smile.

You’ve made an amazing transformation physically and mentally.

You’ve gotten stronger.

You’ve become more brave.

You’re more ambitious and kind.

It has been an absolute honor watching you transform and I’m so excited to see what else you can do next year.

I love you with all of my heart.

Why is your nutrition so important?

Well, to make it simple…you can’t out train your diet.

If you eat like crap, it doesn’t matter if you work out constantly, you will never look and feel the way you desire.

You build the muscles in the gym, but you reveal them through the kitchen.

The simplest examples are:
- if you’re trying to lose weight you need to be in a calories deficit
- if you are trying to gain weight you need to be in a calorie surplus

Another strong thing to focus on with your nutrition is protein…

Most people will question why they aren’t getting the results they and when we look at their nutrition it’s mostly carbs and fat and not enough protein.

The most important macro nutrient to manage is your protein. Higher protein will help maintain and grow your muscles and your muscles are essentially your bodies fat burning machine. You need to power the machine in order for it to work!

Take this weekend, reflect on your nutrition and figure out 1 or 2 things you can adjust to make things more efficient along your health journey!

This is the truth though.

Before I started to actually pay attention to the food I was eating, I was trying to out train his diet. I Would workout super hard and gain some muscle but would never lean out. It wasn’t until I started to actually implement more whole foods into my diet and focusing on hitting macro numbers when I started to actually see results in the gym!”

There’s a saying out there “Abs are built in the gym, revealed in the kitchen”.

If your nutrition isn’t in check, the results in the gym will suffer from it!

Let’s spotlight some of our amazing AF Family!

Micah and Kya. Just flat out a POWER couple!

Micah builds incredible tiny homes, Kya is famous on Tik Tok, and together they have built an incredible strong and successful business!

These two also have a beautiful little daughter Hermione and baby boy on the way in just a couple weeks!

We have been working with them for about a year now, and their progress has been incredible. Both Micah and Kya have gotten JACKED 💪 and both of them started from more slim frames!

Kya specifically had to make a huge adjustment in her workouts due to being pregnant. So what we worked up was a way to keep her moving, protect the baby, and prepare her body to recover better after giving birth! We are so excited for her!

Micah is truly a strong badass businessman

And

Kya is truly a strong badass mom

Together they have shown us, and everyone around the them that you can be amazing parents while still chasing and achieving dreams!

Amazing you two! We love you 🤘
