Summer has a way of changing everything, including how we move and how we treat our bodies.

Longer days and warmer weather often mean more activity, more travel and more time on your feet in ways your body is not always prepared for. This is actually one of the best times of year to invest in intentional movement because the stronger and more stable your foundation is, the better everything else feels. Whether you are hiking, gardening, chasing kids around a pool or just standing at a backyard barbecue for four hours, a body that has been trained to move well handles all of it differently.

That is what we are building here, every single session.

May has been such a full and meaningful month and June is already shaping up to be even better!

Teri is leading a Summer Solstice event on June 21st, followed by The Pilates Body Block Party on June 26th celebrating two years of Viki owning The Pilates Body. A brand new 6-Week Reformer Series starts June 29th and if that was not enough, we are getting closer to sharing some exciting news about a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program launching this fall. There is something really special about the mothers who come through our doors with their kids.

Some of them started separately and found their way to the same class. Some come together from the very beginning, side by side, showing up for each other in the way only a parent and child can. Whatever the story, watching those relationships deepen through a shared Pilates practice is one of our favorite parts of this work.

Join us May 17th from 3 to 5pm for Movement and Meditation, a spring workshop led by Teri at The Pilates Body. We'll begin with BriBri Cacao, flow through practices rooted in Pilates, Yoga, and Yamuna, and end with a sound bath meditation that will leave you feeling like yourself again; maybe even better.

All you need is a yoga mat, a blanket, and an eye pillow if you have one. The rest we'll take care of.

When many people think of Pilates, they picture the reformer. At The Pilates Body, your practice is designed to extend well beyond one piece of equipment.

Tower Pilates classes are part of our a la carte class offering, giving you the flexibility to explore different formats while continuing to build strength, control, and alignment. Using spring resistance to both support and challenge the body, the Tower allows you to move through lying, seated, kneeling, and standing exercises that develop deep core engagement, muscular balance, and breath awareness, all while creating a feeling of length and lift.

This versatile approach brings thoughtful variety to your routine and can be mixed with other a la carte options such as Mat and Mixed Equipment classes, allowing you to create a practice that feels dynamic, balanced, and personalized to your goals.
Single a la carte classes are available for $25. You can also commit to your practice with a 5-class pack for $110 or a 10-class pack for $170.
