If you’ve ever taken a class, been a dance camper , or in a production with Shelby, you’ll know that she brings the highest degree of professionalism to her craft through a quiet grace and an enviable natural aesthetic that can transport her students to great heights. Shelby has designed beautiful camps in the past but DEEP DIVE sr camp promises to take dancers to even greater depths as they explore their art. Dancers will be able to strengthen their technique while exploring various genres and creating a dance video suitable for auditioning.

Ally Rubble is became a Clutch City dancer for the Houston Rockets after leaving MTSU , where she was on the University dance team and performed with MTSU’s performance company . Ally will introduce Cannon Dancers to the art of Pom through her professionalism and enthusiasm .

For the last two years, Xan Barrell has worked at Cannon Arts Dance where she has made a great impact on our combos 1-4 , Prelude, Acro and Jr. company dancers . She has participated in our community outreach programs all the while working diligently both behind the scenes and performing onstage at MTSU . In addition she is double majoring not only in dance but video production and will be sharing those valuable skills with our campers this summer.
Xan comes to us from Showstars Dance Academy in Brighton, Tn, where she has worked since 2019. Xan’s teaching focuses on developing technique in whatever genre she is teaching, whether it's Tap, Jazz, Ballet or Acro.

Miranda Laurent is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University , where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance with a concentration in Performance and Choreography. Based in La Vergne, Tennessee, Miranda has built a diverse choreography portfolio spanning musical theatre, dance film, competitive solos, pom routines, and technical training programs. She strives to create an encouraging and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages and experience levels feel welcome, challenged, and inspired to develop a lifelong love of dance.

Cara Paty began her dance training in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a strong foundation in ballet before continuing at Scenic City Dance Studio, where she trained in contemporary, hip hop, ballet, and lyrical. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Dance from Middle Tennessee State University, expanding her training across multiple styles including ballet, contemporary, and jazz.
With a love for performance and movement, she brings energy, creativity, and dedication into every class she teaches.
