Congrats, Haylie!! Your WAA Softball family is so proud of your massive accomplishment. See below for a snippet of Haylie’s story as told by Coach Cory Mundahl.

“Haylie's story is one that should be told to every WAA player and team. When I first met her, she was playing on her dad's 14C team. She played the next season with me at 14 Elite, 2 years at 16 Elite, on the JV team at WHS for 2 years and finally making Varsity her senior year. Every players journey is totally different. Haylie's wasn't always easy, but she showed you must stay positive, focus on the controllables, and always keep your eye on the prize.”

Congrats to Haylie Hedrington who is officially on North Dakota State University’s softball team!

Haylie played softball for WAA for 6 years and was the Assistant Coach for WAA’s 14U Elite fastpitch team this past spring/summer season. WAA Woodbury Softball

She is a 2025 Woodbury High School graduate who also played softball, basketball, and ran Cross Country for WHS.

You can watch her NDSU team play the MN Gophers this Sat, 4pm start time, at the Jane Sage Cowles Stadium.
