Karen's Seaglass Studio

Karen's Seaglass Studio Authentic, Hand Picked Seaglass From The Shores of Secret Glass Beach, New Jersey The Secret Glass Beach Story
Secret Glass Beach is located in New Jersey.

That's really all we can say about the location as it is still a secret beach. What makes this spot unusual for seaglass collecting is the variety of glass found here. Most seaglass comes exclusively from common household trash dumped into the water. Secret Glass Beach contains glass from an obsolete glass factory, dismantled and discarded along with every day refuse decades ago. As a result, many

unique pieces can be found here. Giant chunks the size of a baseball are common on this beach but extremely rare everywhere else. Opaque and multicoloured glass are in abundance. Rare black, dark purple, ehite milk glass can also be found. Although the location remains a secret, Karen will share her wondrous artifacts with you through one-of-a-kind, distinctive products to beautify your living space. Karen hopes that you enjoy these products as much as she enjoys making them.

Hi Y'all,
I want to introduce you to our favorite sea glass site on Facebook. "Sea Glass and Shell Lovers of New England!" We've been posting to several sea glass sites lately and have not had the wonderful experiences we desired until we found this site. You will feel completely at home here and the administrators are exceptionally kind and pleasant. So if you are looking for a happy, safe place, to share your sea glass and sea glass crafts, or to simply browse beach related posts from friendly beach combers, this is the place for you. You will feel right at home. Enjoy!

Hi Folks,

We apologize for not responding to many of your messages as we're a bit overwhelmed.

But first, we want to thank you all for showing such an interest in this collection. We are truly blessed that so many of you share our passion. As our initial post suggests, our desire is to keep the collection together and sell it as a whole. We feel this aggregation has a greater value when left in its entirety. It tells a story and the story may have more worth than the glass itself. I realize it’s a pie-in-the-sky notion to think someone out there would want to purchase the complete collection but splitting it up would be an egregious mistake.

We’re trying to clean out our house and sell some things, especially tremendously heavy things, so we can move to Florida when we retire. We have about three years to accomplish this. Selling a few hundred pounds doesn’t really lighten the load and would only make selling the residue even tougher.

So please forgive us for rushing this out there, unprepared for your many requests. If you know someone looking to start a business or perhaps someone with the means to acquire one of the largest collections of sea glass in the world, let us know.

Thank you for your understanding,

Karen & Craig

Dropped some items off with our new sea glass friend, Suzanne, who just opened the Sea Glass Grotto in the Woodland Village on Rt 9 in Clermont, NJ. If you're on the way to the shore, stop in and check it out. This place is absolutely beautiful and Suzanne couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Her jewelry is simply stunning. Best wishes Suzanne!
