LOVING this book by Brendan Burchard! I had to share this quote because this can be so challenging when trying to reach any goal, fitness related or not. If it is not a NECESSITY, you will find excuses, and you will not be consistent.
What I’m taking away from this chapter is how to make health a necessity. Not something I will get to when I check off all of my other to-dos.

No side by sides or scrolling for this one. Sometimes I try to figure out how to depict the transformation I’ve experienced over the last year, but it’s not a visual thing.
It’s me setting big goals for myself, when I never used to feel like I had direction. It’s me making smarter food decisions or getting more workouts in this week over last, after going through a time of just not caring about what was good for me. It’s me getting emotional and feeling a million feelings, but not trying to squish them down so I can come across like I have it together.
My has been very internal, but it’s been so necessary to take this next step to grow both inside and out. 💕

In case anyone needed a little laugh on a Monday 👍🏻
I definitely needed this! Today felt like absolutely nothing was going right. I’ve started a couple of projects and they feel kinda big and scary right now, and when I was hitting roadblocks I felt... uncertain.
Something I love about coaching is the emphasis on personal development. I’ve read and listened to a lot of inspiring people recently and hearing the same messages over and over again help them stick. Today I channeled Marie Forleo and repeated “everything is figureoutable”. 😊
Remember you can always figure s**t out if you keep at it. And shout out to for helping a girl make things happen 🙌🏻

Last day of our Haunted HIIT group!! I am so happy I stuck with a routine this week. I feel like I can spend the rest of Halloween night with a glass of wine and a few episodes of Criminal Minds as a reward now that the hard part is over 😬 and I hope you celebrate in whatever way makes you the happiest!

Back. To. Basics.
Yesterday I talked about how when I am active physically and eating good things, I feel more on top of my game. The other side of that healthy equation is the mental and spiritual aspect of our day.
Two practices that can easily slip away when we are busy, but can be total game changers for our mood, are meditation and gratitude. Meditation can be anything from traditional cross legged silence and deep breathing, to prayer or affirmations. I like using the app Insight Timer that has tons of guided mediations.
I also try to follow the advice of Rachel Hollis (and I’m sure every successful person) and write down things I am grateful for each day. It honestly keeps my brain in check when I want to have a pity party or complain about my day, I refocus on the GOOD of each and every day.
I haven’t been the most consistent with these two, but I am recommitting this week to make them a priority! Anyone else??
Side note- this is not a picture of me meditating or being calm, it’s actually me dying on a super steep hike and needed to gather myself and catch my breath. But I look peaceful! 😂😂😂

My motto for this week is “back to the basics”.
This is such an easy time of year to get off track thanks to the holidays, with sweet treats everywhere, lots of get togethers, motivation falling off, but still trying to hit end of the year goals at work or at home.
Through coaching and the accountability of a great community, I’ve realized I am at my best when I maintain a healthy baseline and don’t stray to far from those self care basics. The busier I am, the MORE important it becomes to stay on top of my health.
For me, this means clean and healthy meals, lots of water, daily workouts (even just 20 minutes!), my superfood shake, and SLEEP!

Ready to jump into Halloween week with some workouts planned for you and major accountability and support to stay on track?!
I am so excited to be partnering with some of the newer chicas in our coaching community to share a FREE group with everyone!! I know I love this community so much and I want as many people as possible to have a chance to see what it’s all about!
I’ll be sharing details all weekend! Essentially you can expect workouts from Monday to Thursday, daily check ins and accountability, and a group of super positive people to connect with!
The best part, is it’s entirely FREE and you need absolutely no equipment to start. All we are looking for is excitement to just dive in!

Week 6, we are doingggg things!
Really starting to think about my workouts as “me time”. I thought that was always reserved for moms and people with families and such and I already had enough me time. But lately what I have enjoyed is the consistency in the feeling I get during my workouts. No matter what else is going on, I get a feeling of calm, of purpose, and clarity. This is my time, in a busy schedule to make sure I am keeping myself balanced!
