Syosset Little League Winter Fest - Sunday, February 1, 2026 1-4pm at South Grove Elementary School Gym.

Join Syosset Little League for fun, food, music, interactive activities, raffles, sports memorabilia silent auction and meet special guest Former MLB All-Star Jose Reyes!

Tickets are $25 per person and include free food, drinks, games, and a photo op with our special guest, former Mets All-Star Shortstop Jose Reyes.

Syosset Little League players & families- You’re Invited!

Syosset Little League is excited to host a fun-filled All-Star Celebration at Syosset-Woodbury Park on Saturday, June 7th — and we want every player and family to join us!

While only a limited number of players from each team can be selected for the All-Star Game itself (based on different criteria across divisions), this event is for everyone in our amazing league. It’s our way of celebrating every player’s hard work, effort, and love for the game this season.

We’ll have:
🍔 Free food
🍿 Snacks and treats
🎤Music and entertainment
⚾️🥎 Tons of fun with your teammates and friends!

We’re proud of every player who put on a Syosset jersey this season — and we hope to see the whole community come together to cheer on the All-Stars and enjoy a great day of baseball fun.

FREE Training Clinics for Blast-ball and Tee-ball Players!
Join our last Wednesday clinic of the Spring season with our awesome partners at Game Speed Training.

Players should bring a tee-ball bat, batting helmet, glove and water bottle. Always wear a chest protector.

Your player must be registered for Spring 2025 SLL boys or girls blast-ball or tee-ball to attend the clinics.

This is not a drop-off event.

Friday 6/6 - Home Run Derby at Syosset-Woodbury Park! Open to SLL Baseball & Softball players 2nd-7th grade.

Registration is required and closes Tuesday 6/3. Limited spots remaining in each age group.

Contestants will swing away at pitches thrown by a trainer- hit as many over the fence as possible. Any swing not resulting in a home run is an out. 5 outs ends a contestant's turn.
The contestant in each age division with the most home runs (over the fence) wins!

6:30pm 3rd grade boys & girls

7pm 4th grade boys & girls

7:30pm 5th grade boys & girls

8pm 6th & 7th grade boys & girls

Monday 5/26 - Join Syosset Little League in the annual Syosset Memorial Day Parade!
Meet at the Variety Pre-School on Humphrey Drive and Dawes at 9:20 to assemble. Join your baseball and softball managers and teammates as we walk the parade route, which ends by the train station.

This event is open to players of all ages. Wear a Syosset Baseball/Softball uniform.

Cheer for our 2nd grade - Majors Baseball & Softball All-Star Games all day.

Safety Recommendations and Pitch Count Guidelines:

As players take the field for practices and games, we wanted to emphasize the importance of keeping our kids healthy and playing to the best of their abilities. From SLL Director Jason Roth and Evolve Physical Therapy here are some quick tips and recommendations to reduce the risk of injury.

Have players warm up to throw, not throw to warm up.

Increasing body temperature and blood flow with agility activities and arm movements will prepare the athlete’s body to throw and decrease chance of injury.

Get a proper amount of sleep each day. For 8-14 year-olds it’s recommended to get 9-12 hours

Properly hydrate.
