Woodburn Golf Club Welcome to Oregon's most unique and one of it's oldest golf courses, the Woodburn Golf Club. It turned 100 years old in 2025 There are no tee times. ft.

The golf course is 9 holes on 31.95 acres; 2346 yards; sand greens (even though sand, still called greens); Par is 33 for men and 36 for women. It is the only sand green course in the Willamette Valley. Initially the greens were smoothed dirt. Later the greens were covered with sand, and to this day sand is used instead of the customary short grass. The golf course was first laid out and play comm

enced in 1925. The Woodburn Golf Club was incorporated in 1934. The course is an excellent place to learn to play and practice, as well as being challenging for experienced golfers. Green Fees:
Current fees are $10.00 for nine holes, $15.00 for 18 holes; Youth is $3.00 for 9 and $5.00 for 18 holes. An annual fee of $250.00 for unlimited golf. Basic Information:
The course is open for year around play. Play is on a first come basis. The course is closed for the Men’s Club each Wednesday morning, and for the Women’s Club each Thursday morning from April through October. The property has a 950 sq. clubhouse with restrooms and kitchen facilities. The clubhouse and course are available for group rentals with the approval of the Board of Directors. Sunday we held a celebration for the course’s 100 year anniversary attended by many of our regulars intermixed with many new faces.

It was fun and a reminder that at 100 years of age the course still holds its place in Woodburn’s community…

A big thank you for all that attended along with a nod to the team that made this event happen.

Next up on Aug 2nd is the PEO tournament a wonderful and fun event that raises scholarship funds for young women. This year’s theme is the Roaring Twenties (Costumes are encouraged but not required) The teams that dress to the theme will be judged for bragging rights and a prize.

It is a great event serving a wonderful cause and let’s face it a round of golf on our unique course with old and new friends…

July is a busy month…

Afternoon of the 8th the course will be closed for another round of the PGA Junior League. We will need to clear the course for set up at around 2:00 PM till end of day.

July 9th will be the anual shareholder meeting late afternoon course will remain open.

Plus AUG 2nd will be the annual PEO Tournament. Looking to see if I can source a link for registration.

A reminder that this coming Tuesday the 23rd the course will be closed for public play from around 4:00 PM thru 7:00 PM for Junior League play.

Well due to the excessive heat, this Tuesday’s Junior League event at our course has been rescheduled for Tuesday the 23rd of this month.

A few speed bumps this year with my posting the initial event for the wrong group, a scheduling kerfuffle, and nature firing up its hot plate….

I will post a reminder of the event about a week prior.

Due to the impending 4th of July holidays and families being somewhat unavailable, we have moved the Junior League event until next Tuesday 07/09. Thank you for your support and interest in our course.

Yesterday I posted a notice of closure for Jul 02 for a PGA First Tee event in error. It is a Junior League event not the First Tee program. My apologies for that misrepresentation.

Course closure for the afternoon of July 2nd.

Starting about 3:30 thru till 7:30.

This is for the annual hosting of a PGA Junior League event at our course.
These are Woodburn area youth that get golf instruction and play over at the OGA course June - July and they have been gracious enough to allow us to host a round of their tournament play for a number of years now.

This exposes our course to families and the benefits our simple no frills environment offers to them.

We thank them for this privilege and apologize if this inconveniences you…

Corrected this to read the Junior League after erroniously tagging it as a First Tee event. My apologies for the error.

This Friday 06/07 the course will be closed for spraying. It should be available for play mid afternoon.
