I have taken LOTS of JML baseball photos over the years... 99% are of the players, but it weren't for the coaches who volunteer their time to coach our kids we wouldn't have these memories! This is one of my favorites of our coaches after a win!

Congratulations to Milford JML as they capture the 2015 8's Friendship Tournment Championship for the 2nd year in a row!

Milford won the coin toss, making Milford the Home team. Milford scored the only runs in the 1st inning, making score 2 to 0. Beth-Wood stormed back batting in four runs in the 2nd to take the lead. Milford woke up quickly, scoring 6 runs in the third inning. Beth-Wood knocked two more runs in the 5th, but it wasn't enough. Milford JML takes the win!

Final score 9 to 6!

JML wins National League title in the Beth-Wood Tournament against undefeated Norwalk!

The talented Norwalk team held Milford to one run in the first inning and zero runs in the second inning, while Norwalk scored two runs in the 1st. Milford stormed back scoring 6 runs in the 3rd and one more in the 5th. Milford held Norwalk with only one more run in the 4th...taking the win!

Milford Junior Major League came away with a decisive 18-1 second-round victory over Monroe in the 8U Beth-Wood Tournament in Woodbridge on Monday.

So the photographer got to this game a bit late and was pleasantly surprised to show up to a 6 to 0 lead by Milford at the top of the 1st! And the game just got better from there. Monroe had some solid hits, but Milford was there and only allowed one run!

Milford advances to play for the National title in the Beth-Wood Tournament tomorrow night, July 28th!

Final score 18 to 1!
