This Memorial Day, Yis Martial Arts Fitness Academy family pauses to honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

In every bow, every lesson in discipline, courage, respect, and perseverance, we carry forward values that so many heroes fought to protect. Their sacrifice reminds us that true strength is not only found in battle, but in selflessness, honor, and the commitment to protect others.

Today, we remember the fallen. We honor their legacy. And we stand together in gratitude for the freedoms we are blessed to live every day.

I am taking pre-registrations today thru Mothers Day, for the 5 WEEK WOMEN/TEEN SELF DEFENSE COURSE STARTING THIS COMING THURSDAY MAY 14, 2026!

The investment is this weekend only $99 after this weekend it goes up to $199. Ages 14-up Only.
Under 18 must be accompanied by legal parent or guardian!!!

Strictly limited to 12 in order to get the most reps and best group training.

The classes will be every Thursday from 6:30pm-7:20pm.

Alton Riverbend Area Get ready this Friday I am taking pre-registration for the 5-Week Women/Teen Self Defense Course ages 14-up ONLY. We will be covering Vital Striking Areas, Self Defense Scenarios vs most common threats, knife threats, anti-abduction techniques, and ground. I am strictly limiting this intensive 5 Week Course to 12 participants only.

Alton Riverbend Area Parents, Teens COMMUNITY SAFETY NOTICE!!!

Due to the recent attempts we are announcing a 5 Week Self Defense Course for Females Ages 14-up. More Info coming soon stay tuned. The days will be every Thursdays at 6:30pm-7:15pm starting May 14, 2026 we will be covering vital striking areas, basic escapes from common grabs, weapon retention, ground escapes etc.... This class will be limited in size. If you can't make it on Thursdays or your schedule is busy change it for 5 weeks or contact us for pvt training.
