Countdown to States!

Congratulations to Randi for making it to Varsity States!
This is Captain Randi’s Senior year and her 4th time competing at Varsity States. Last year at States Randi placed 12th in the All Around and qualified for New Englands on bars, beam, floor and All Around. This year she has again qualified for all 4 events and the All Around. Randi currently holds all 5 score records with a 8.70 vault (shared), 9.10 bars, 9.150 beam, 9.20 floor and a 35.750 All Around.
Randi is currently ranked 5th in the State for All Around scores.
We cannot wait to watch her compete at RIC one last time. Good Luck Randi 🤸‍♀️💚

Countdown to States….

Congratulations to Brooklyn to making it to Varsity States! Brooklyn a Junior and Co-Captain is making her second appearance at Vasity States, this year being her first time qualifying for all 4 events and the All Around. Brooklyn qualified with high scores of 8.70 vault, 8.40 bars, 8.40 beam, 9.150 floor and 34.300 All Around. Brooklyn currently shares the school record for the highest vault score and is 1 of only 3 Chariho gymnasts to score over 9.00. We are so excited to watch Brooklyn compete on Saturday 🤸‍♀️

Countdown to States is on!

Congratulations to Lil G for making it to Varsity States!
Lil qualified as a Freshman to compete Beam at States. Her highest beam qualifying score was 8.350. Lil also had high scores of 8.450 floor, 8.350 vault and 7.00 bars this season. Her highest AA was 31.050.
What an amazing Freshman Season she had and we can’t wait to see her compete at States!
The future is bright for this one 🤩

Wow what a nail bitting tie breaker against Prout/EWG. These girls, this team gave it everything they had and it came down to .10. Final score Prout/EWG 133.15 Chariho 133.05. So proud of the season they have had, every single one of them contributing to the teams success and tying for 3rd they should all be very proud.

Two shouts outs tonight -

Lillian for getting her 3rd qualifying score for beam and earning a place at Varsity States as Freshman!!

And our girl Randi, who pushes herself harder and harder each meet, breaking 2 more school records with a 9.15 on beam and a gigantic 35.750 All Around.

We are so excited to cheer on Lillian, Brooklyn and Randi this Saturday at Varsity States at Rhode Island College.

Big win tonight agains Mt Hope and Rogers/EP! This puts the team tied for 3rd with Prout/EWG. Tie breaker meet tomorrow night to determine which team goes to States.

Lots of personal bests tonight! Lily B and Lilah both had their best All Arounds of the season.
Brooklyn got her first HS 9 with a. 9.100 on Floor
Randi broke the school record with the highest floor score to date with a 9.20.
And this was the first time ever TWO Chariho gymnasts scored 9’s in the same meet.
Best of luck to them all tomorrow at their tie breaker!
