Editorial by Timothy W. Burnett

There are a small percentage of people who truly understand the high price paid for real resistance to the "covid" response cult bo***ge net that has been dropped over our country and states.

It is possible, the true resistance percentage is close to the percentage of American colonials who stood against the tyrannical British Empire prior to the American Revolutionary War.

Employees who even politely object to employers' face mask policies may be given notice of termination. If those employees refuse to comply with the business face mask directives, they will likely be fired on the spot.

It doesn't take much of an imagination to see what life can be like for the resistance considering masses of businesses simultaneously enforce the same face mask policies; and do so even after the Texas Governor and most Mayors lifted their face mask orders and proclamations.

The masses of businesses would likely reject people who are part of the peaceful resistance; who refuse to comply with ungodly and wicked policies that require employees and customers to wear face masks as a condition for employment or services.

Most sadly, the People must decide whether they will waive their Right to Life and Liberty in order to qualify for employment.

They must decide whether they will stand fast in the Liberty wherewith Christ has set us free, and be not entangled in the yoke of bo***ge; that being death and the fear of death, along with all associated actions related to that underlying fear.

Our heavenly Father designed all of mankind to breath maximum amounts of air, and minimal amounts of carbon dioxide gasses. Mankind was not designed to cover their noses and mouths.

Soon after Texas Governor Gregg Abbott lifted his tyrannical face mask order, certain Mayors around the state lifted their face mask "orders."

Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope replied to this writer's inquiry about his face mask Proclamation by pointing to the Governor's order. Pope did not specify whether he actually lifted his Proclamation for all Lubbock businesses to require employees to wear face masks.

The City of Lubbock confirmed that the Fire Marshal, Fire Chief, and Police Chief, never issued an order to enforce the Mayor's Proclamation.

Soon after the Governor's order and mayoral proclamation were lifted during early March 2021, a number of Lubbock big businesses announced plans to continue requiring employees to wear face masks. It's been over one month, and still, even small Lubbock businesses not only coerce employees into wearing face masks under threat of being fired, but they foolishly eject non-compliant customers.

This writer sent inquiries to various Lubbock businesses asking for clarification as to whether the face mask policies existed in order to qualify for "covid" relief loan forgiveness. In other words, do any of the covid relief loans include conditions requiring compliance with orders and guidelines in order to qualify for loan forgiveness.

Yes, the inquiry goes to whether this cult bo***ge is connected with money -- for the love of money is the root of all evil (1Timothy 6:10).

Only one business responded. Sonic Drive-In franchise owner Rodney Warren answered that the "Sonic Corp has decided to follow the CDC guide to Covid prevention. Therefore they have decided that Sonic employees will continue to wear masks."

Warren later clarified "the 2020 Cares Act had no bearing on the mask wearing decision." He did not reply to a follow-up question asking whether any conditions exist that might obligate Sonic to comply with CDC guidelines.

The federal Small Business Administration ignored a simply inquiry about whether any "covid" relief loans required borrowers to comply with guidelines and orders as a condition for loan forgiveness.

To date, it is still a mystery as to why all businesses simultaneously started, and continued to require employees and customers to wear face masks, while knowing that guidelines, orders, and proclamations were not enforceable.

During early September 2020, this writer filed an OSHA Workplace complaint against his former employer, asking to determine whether the business HVAC system should be converted to offset dangerously low oxygen volumes in the covered space of face masks. OSHA eventually inspected the facility and concluded the building air quality met federal standards. OSHA did not perform a comparative inspection of the air quality under the covered space of face masks.

During December 2020, this writer filed a new complaint against his former employer, expressing concerns of dangerously poor air quality in the covered space of face masks worn by employees, including dangerously low volume of oxygen and dangerously high volume of carbon dioxide.

The OSHA Regional office sent a notice of decision to not inspect, explaining that the second complaint was a duplicate of the first complaint against the same employer. To date, the second complaint is presently still on appeal with the Washington, D.C. office.

In his former employment with a private university, this writer had an opportunity to interact with students about face mask issues. A number of students expressed concerns about being exhausted after a few hours; one said she was experiencing headaches and was on the way to the university clinic for that reason.

Other students confirmed the university was requiring them to wear face mask for the duration of each class period, which could last nearly one to three hours.

One student spoke of feeling exhausted and out of breath during her evening non-university dance class.

She said it was not a problem before being required to wear face masks in school. She noted that the dancers were not required to wear masks while dancing, which revealed that exhaustion issues could be accumulative.

For most businesses, it's long been a standard policy for employees who are feeling sick to simply not come to work. Yet, all of a sudden, masses of businesses started coercing all employees into covering their noses and mouths with masks under threat of being fired.

Masses of business simultaneously shut down in willful voluntary compliance to unenforceable guidelines, proclamations and orders, with little or no resistance. Most of the businesses were supported by "covid" relief funds.

What was the motivating factor? Why is it that, to this day, masses of people continue to proudly don face masks and suffocate themselves for business and government executives.

What is motivating masses of businesses to coerce employees into working in such poor air quality conditions under threat of being fired? To take advantage of people's need to work for a living and support their families? To take advantage of their freedom as "corporate persons" to fire employees At Will?

The past 12 months has included a series of events and actions that raise important and reasonable questions about how government and business executives joined together to coerce employees into working in dangerously poor air quality conditions; tempting the People into waiving their Rights to Life and Liberty for the sake of employment.

The following inquiry was sent to Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University, United Supermarkets, HEB, and Sonic Drive-In:

I am preparing an article updating the local and Texas "covid" response.

It came to my attention that businesses in the Lubbock and Wolfforth area will continue to require employees to wear face masks even after Governor Greg Abbott lifted his orders.

My news product covers Wolfforth, Texas and the Frenship ISD area, so the article will address businesses in that area.

Please reply with answers to the following questions, and include supporting documents, citations, or information.

1. What local, state, or federal government departments does [business name] consult for guidelines to determine a need to require employees to wear face masks, and determine when to lift the requirement?

2. Did [business name] receive funds from the 2020 CARES Act?

4. If yes to #2, then please advise whether the loan includes a stipulation requiring the borrower to comply with local, state, and/or federal "covid" response guidelines in order to qualify for loan forgiveness.

3. Please provide an explanation with supporting information/documents about whether an atmospheric hazard exists in the workplace of each business facility in the Lubbock, Texas area, that would reasonably justify a requirement for employees to wear face masks while in the workplace. Please include the location of each store with the respective hazardous conditions.

If available, please respond with answers to the above questions, and any other information you may want to include, within about 15 days so I can finish the article for posting during early April.
