Our final awards given, we took time to honor three very special awards.
First: Our Servant Leader Award recipient- Kayt.
This award recognizes an amazing human who has loved and believed in this program from day one. Kayt leads by example, puts others first, and serves with humility, kindness, and heart.
Kayt, thank you for the way you encourage others, care deeply for this team, and make everyone around you better. Your leadership has made a lasting difference. We have so enjoyed having you on our Unified Team for the past three years. You have done more for us than we can ever thank you for!
We also proudly recognize our Heart of Unified Award recipients: Bryce and Kelsey. This award honors those who lead through service, kindness, organization, and unwavering dedication. They are the selfless hearts behind so much of what we do.
Bryce and Kelsey, thank you for loving our athletes, supporting this program, and stepping in wherever needed without ever asking for recognition. Thank you for keeping everyone calm, ready and doing all the behind the scenes work. We could not have done this without you.
Your impact is felt in every success, every smile, and every special moment.
Our final award is the Beyond the Finish Line Award. The Coaches wanted to end our shoutouts with this special honor. The Beyond the Finish Line Award recognizes the heart of Unified and honors the athletes and teammates who came before us, those who helped build this program, set the tone, and showed us what courage, joy, loyalty, and perseverance truly look like. It is given in recognition of the ones who faced challenges with strength, kept moving forward no matter the obstacles, and left a lasting spirit on this team that will never be forgotten.
This award honors those whose influence reaches far beyond medals, times, or results. It recognizes people who lead with heart, encourage others, serve with dedication, and protect what Unified stands for.
This year, Coach T and I were honored to present our first annual Beyond the Finish Line Award to Blakeley and Preston. As members of the Regional Youth Leadership Committee, they have helped build this program, recruit others, believe in every athlete, and pour love into this team. More importantly, they are two genuinely kind, selfless, and incredible people whose hearts shine through everything they do.
Blakeley and Preston, thank you for carrying Jack’s legacy forward and helping Unified continue to change lives. Coach T and I will never be able to thank you for your heart and leadership and being the rock of this team. You have gone above and beyond and love this program as much as we do. Thank you for leaving your legacy.
We are forever proud and grateful for this team and this year. 💛
