It's another busy week around the gym!

Here's this week's class schedule with one important programming note:

‼️ The gym will be closed this coming Saturday (6/7) due to Will's show. We will not be having butts & guts or shoulders/biceps/triceps classes.

Everyone is invited to the after party, at the gym on Saturday night. If you plan to attend, please RSVP as soon as possible as this is a catered event! ‼️

The average American…

Retires at 64.

Dies at 76.

And most will spend that time between 64 and 76 living with hypertension, obesity, and reliant on prescriptions.

So…they’re spending 45+ years of their lives working to save enough to retire…only to spend about 12 years, while limited by age, illness, and/or obesity.

If you're carrying around a few more LBS than you'd like, take a look at what you're eating...

Research has shown the average American consumes about 3,600 calories a day.

The issue?

The DHSS (U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services) has the following calorie guidelines for adults:

➡️ 1,600-2,400 calories/day for adult females (excluding pregnancy/nursing mothers).

➡️ 2,000-3,000 calories/day for adult males.

Take it a step further?

➡️ Self-reporting average for males is about 2,639 calories/day.

➡️ Self-reporting average for females is 1,793 calories/day.

If you're eating and not tracking it (especially if you're not making the food you're eating), you're grossly underestimating what you consume, and more than likely, you're operating at a caloric surplus.

Caloric surplus = additional weight.

It's not genetics. It's not hereditary. It's math and science.
