I had places to be this morning, but it was also time to eat. Yes....I eat at certain times of the day in order to fuel my body properly and today I had zero time to make anything else.

I love having a simple and easy option that I can whip up in the blender and take with me. Today’s concoction is Cafe latte Shakeology, chocolate protein and greens, oats, unsweetened almond milk, water, and ice. 💚❤️❤️💛🥄

Life is full of hard decisions and it’s human nature to choose the option that seems easier. The truth is, both options are hard.

I’ve fallen off over the course of the past month and didn’t feel like finishing the last week because I thought I had nothing to show. The “easy” option was to just say screw it and commit when I start round 2 in a couple weeks. But is that easier?

I chose the “hard” option and pushed through the workout today. Sure it was hard AF, but it’s harder to start over. It’s harder to walk around hating myself for falling off track meanwhile continuing to be “off track”. It’s harder to to say enough is enough when you continue to tell yourself it’s okay to eat like crap....I’ll start over next week.

So choose your hard wisely, the easy option might just be harder 😘❤️

Day 69/80: I will not give up! No matter what life throws at me I will keep moving forward 👊

Today’s workout made me feel rejuvenated as I really focused on being present in the moment. Sometimes we get so set in our routine that we just go through our day without really acknowledging what we are doing. I challenge you today to pick one routine activity and really focus on being present in the moment.

Clear your mind of all other thoughts and think about what you are doing at that very moment. ❤️

I used to be that girl that went to Starbucks every morning on my way to work for a Java Chip Frappuccino. My mouth is watering just thinking about it 😋. I always had to get my chocolate fix for the day and we’ll, this hit the spot. You know they say chocolate is good for your heart, right 🍫

Well they are right, but only when consumed in moderation AND in its natural state. The problem today is that companies are masking the power of these awesome superfoods with artificial sugars that mimic the taste 🤨. I would bet money that the chocolate “flavor” in that Frappuccino isn’t even from cocoa....

Let’s talk competition for a minute. A friend of mine posted a reminder yesterday that we need to stop comparing ourselves to others, especially what we see on social media. Most people only share the positive or most glamorous parts of their lives.

We often get stuck in the comparison game wanting everything they have and/or doing what they are doing. All to often, against our budgetary limitations.

The only competition you have is yourself! Focus on being better than you were yesterday whether that’s in your fitness, nutrition, relationships, spirituality, or any other aspect of your life.

If you are looking for a good read I highly recommend you check out “Love Your Life Not Theirs” by Rachel Cruze. It speaks to this but also how it can impact your finances (y’all know I’m into becoming debt free and this is a great addition to Dave Ramsey.....it’s his daughter 😉).

So your motto for today is:

I remember the days when I would dread taking pictures. I would think of everything to try to hide myself in the pictures...kids on my lap, hide in the back row, you name it. It wasn't that I looked bad on the outside, but I felt bad on the inside. I didn't like who I had become and felt even worse about what I looked like.

It wasn't until I started coaching that I realized that it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, it's about how you feel about yourself on the inside. By helping other women feel good about themselves again, I have been able to not only encourage others to put themselves out there, but am also learning to do the same myself. So here's to many more "selfies" showing the world that I love who I have become!

Day 45/80: My hip/sciatica felt a lot better this morning so I did finish my workout. Although I didn’t lift as heavy as I normally would have and went conservative on my loops to focus on form.

After adding dairy and red meat back into my diet the last few weeks, I am once again feels my bloated and having stomach issues so I will be converting back to a modified Vegan diet today.

Day 42/80: So glad I found these yesterday at TJ Maxx!  510 squats, lunges, and ALL the legs using 2-20 # for the weight...

Day 42/80: So glad I found these yesterday at TJ Maxx! 510 squats, lunges, and ALL the legs using 2-20 # for the weighted ones! My hands would have been toast (PS. they were only $5 too).

Leg day is absolutely my favorite day of the week because it’s where I feel the strongest. I used to be a gymnast and as you can imagine, you need a lot of leg strength especially for tumbling. I have always been a little self conscious about the size of my thighs for that reason, but I am learning to embrace them. Plus, if I can out-squat a few men along the way more power to me 💥
