Project Bird Mansion

Project Bird Mansion Between 1600 and 1900, 75 species of birds and mammals became extinct; 75 more, approximately one per year, disappeared from the planet between 1900 and 1980.

Current rates have increased to roughly two per year... In November of 2011 a tree in my soon-to-be new house broke and fell in the backyard. Luckily it snapped off high enough that the tree top fell clear of the house edge and had it snapped a couple of yards lower it would have taken off half the roof. As a token of our gratitude we will not take the tree trunk out but rather turn it into someth

ing beautiful with your help! Let us bring that tree back to life and give homes to a number of wild birds for the joy of our kids and everyone!
