the beautiful Methow Valley, Bear Creek Golf Course is one of Washington State's golf course jewels. Bring your clubs along if you plan to visit and stop in for a round or two. Club rentals and Fling Golf sticks are available for rent if you forgot your clubs at home. The course also offers a 9 hole Disc Golf course as well as Foot Golf and a beautiful event venue. The course is located a little over 3 hours from Seattle and Spokane in north central Washington. Visitors from Canada traveling from Vancouver or the Okanogan can also be in Winthrop in just over 3 hours (or less) from the border. Highway 20 is the way to travel when making your way to Winthrop from Bellingham, Vancouver and even Seattle. Highway 20 offers one of the most beautiful drives in all of North America. While the road is closed in the winter, from the late spring to late fall, it provides travelers with "pull-over and get a picture of that" beauty." Bear Creek Golf Course is located three miles southeast of Winthrop and seven miless north of Twisp just off the East County Road. Bear Creek has something to offer the experienced golfer as well as the beginner. Junior golfers are welcome with only a few restrictions. We have discounted rates for seniors golfers and several local businesses offer golf packages as well. The beauty of the natural surroundings provide a perfect setting for this challenging 9 hole golf course. Wide open fairways provide a little grace off the tee but the greens and varying terrain challenge even the best golfers. Those who choose to play 18 holes are quite impressed with the variety offered by the unique placement of back 9 tees.
