Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Chaos Victory Over AFSA in game one.
Chaos took Monday's first game in dramatic fashion, with a 15-14 walk-off victory over AFSA. Chaos was down 14-13 in the bottom of the third inning when Emily Ahrens singled, scoring two runs.
Bats blistered as the Winters girls collected seven hits.
AFSA jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning scoring five runs, but Chaos answered with scored five runs of their ownin the bottom of the first inning.
AFSA captured the lead, 8-5, in the top of the second, but Chaos took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Tatumn Perrie tripled, Emily Ahrens walked, and Tempy Patton singled, each scoring two runs.
AFSA flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead, 14-11. But Chaos wasn't going to lay down. They made the score 15-14 in the bottom of the third after Chloe Gonzales drew a walk, scoring one run, Brylee Garza drew a walk, scoring one run, and Emily Ahrens singled, scoring two runs.
Tatumn led Chaos with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Chloe Gonzales paced the Winters girls drawing three walks. Emily, Karmen, Ayriauna, Tempy, Brylee, Kayla, Maddie, Chloe, Karmyn, and Tatumn each stole multiple bases for Chaos- Winters. Chaos- Winters stole 35 bases in the game. The team was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Emily made the most plays with three.
In game two, the girls fell short against the Hawley Lady Bearcats, 12-5. The girls started strong in the 1st matching 3 runs with Hawley, but Hawley pulled ahead in the 2nd and Chaos just couldn't recover.
