In 1960, when the National Park Service required applications before one could rope climb the rock face of Longs Peak, Bob Kamps and Dave Rearick created a media blitz and rallied a support team that carried a 1200-foot spool of rope up the mountain – just in case of an emergency – and made history. Because they plan, when the unexpected occurs, the Alpinist and Urban Trekker go into survival mode

Enjoying Espetada in Funchal, Madeira Portugal. After walking through the old city of Funchal for the first time in 30+ years, and admiring the artists works on the doorways, we found what I had been waiting for! Espetada is a dish which we had in Madeira back in the 70's. It is a giant skewer of roasted beef, hung from a stand on the table and served with salad, chips and polenta sticks!
After lunch, we spent the next hour walking all of the way back to the ship :-)

You just purchased a MARIACHI II VIHUELA STRAP. It will soften with use. Your strap consists of the Braid (or Spine) which goes around your neck, the Loops at the end of the Braid, and the Adjustable Attachment with the acrylic Sound Bowl Clip at the end. The Tautline Hitch is the part of the Adjustable Attachment that slides up and down to adjust the reach of the Clip around the bottom of the guitar. To adjust, grab the Tautline Hitch at one end with your thumb and first finger and push it (along the rope sliding through it) in the direction you wish it to go.

You just purchased a MARIACHI II VIHUELA STRAP. It will soften with use.
