Logan and I had a hell of a day. Caught another 9lb 4 Oz bass out of Panasoffkee. On top of that, managed a 6lber, a 4lber and a couple of smaller bass to earn 2nd place with 22lbs 14 Oz, and once again take home the trophy for big bass!

So excited for tomorrow's regional championship on the st johns. Been cold the past couple mornings...upper 50s. Hope these bass are hungry!!!

Couldn't get the fish to cooperate today. Still ended up in 30th place, made a few bucks, and currently 21st in points. Still love Okeechobee!

Somehow I managed 5 keepers, made the top 30, and will be fishing tomorrow on championship day!

Tomorrow begins the super tournament on Okeechobee. Fished Wednesday out on the lake, and we'll, it was tough. Had a lot of rain today so maybe that will help things. If I make the top 30 I'll be fishing Sunday for day 2. Just got to stay positive and grind out what will possibly be a tough day!

Overall it was a great day of fishing. Had 4 to weigh in for 8lb12oz. Lost one early this morning In that 6+ range that would have put me in the top 10. But that's fishing. Finished 40th out of 177. Sitting 32 now in points. Little break now until the super tournament in September!

Tomorrow is stop 4 for the MLF Phoenix bass league gator division, on none other than Lake Okeechobee. I've done well here before, and caught my PB here. Let's hope the fish feel like feeding!
