We're excited to see everyone on stage at dress rehearsal TOMORROW!! Reminder that the entirety of each performance for the recital video will be filmed during dress rehearsal. Be prepared to perform each routine full out at least twice.

Stay hydrated and bring healthy snacks.

Arrive early with hair and makeup complete.

Dancers should check in at the table backstage.

Look for signs to lead you to the dressing rooms.

If you ordered a recital shirt, don't leave dress rehearsal without yours!

It's recital week!! Reminder that this year's recital will take place at Hagerty High School Auditorium.

Congratulations to Leilani White, 's Miss Petite Online Photogenic winner!! She joins 5 other overall winners to compete for the title of 2026 Face of INSPIRE/EMPIRE during Nationals in Charleston!

Additional KDF dancers were chosen to be recognized during Nationals in July, including Latalya Burns for Best Smile, and Zelda Garner for Most Creative. Congrats everyone!!

Attire: Audition attire should be form-fitting dancewear that allows instructors to clearly see alignment and technique. Dancers may wear bike shorts or leggings paired with a sports bra or fitted tank top. Please come audition-ready with hair secured neatly away from the face and appropriate dance shoes.

Photo Days are Thursday, May 28 – Friday, May 29.
The full schedule is available on the recital page, link in bio.

• Photos will be taken in Studio 2 (no parents allowed)
• Studio 1 will be used for waiting and changing
• Snacks and water will be available in the office for $1 each

Please come prepared:
• Costumes wrinkle-free
• Clean shoes
• Tights free of holes and runs

Company dancers:
• Photos will be taken in your company jacket with black leggings
