Announcement: MAD Adventures and Rocky Mountain Adventures and Unite Under Shared Ownership
Rocky Mountain Adventures (RMA) and MAD Adventures (MAD) are pleased to announce that, as of March 1, 2026, the two historic Colorado outfitters have officially united under the same ownership. This strategic alignment strengthens their shared commitment to delivering exceptional whitewater rafting experiences across the state.
Under this new structure, the Fort Collins headquarters will serve as a centralized retail and reservations hub, supporting operations on three of Colorado’s most sought-after rivers: the Cache la Poudre River, Clear Creek, and the Upper Colorado River. Rafting operations will be based out of three locations—Fort Collins, Dumont, and Kremmling—providing expanded access and convenience for guests.
This merger enhances opportunities for clients to experience Colorado’s diverse river offerings while extending the legacy and reputation of both brands to a broader audience. For the 2026 season, trips will continue to operate under their established names, with Rocky Mountain Adventures serving the Poudre River and MAD Adventures offering trips on Clear Creek and the Upper Colorado River.
While maintaining these distinct brand identities, internal processes and operations will be unified to streamline services, increase resources, and elevate the overall customer experience.
