Goldfish Swim School - Winter Park is a state-of-the art swimming facility dedicated to teaching children as young as 4 months old. It's more than vibrant colors chosen to inspire kids. More than a curriculum crafted to not only teach kids to swim but also to build their character through guided play. More than a shiver-free pool heated to 90 degrees. There's something more. Something beyond typic

al. It's passion. Not just a passion for kids or a passion for swimming…it's a special passion for changing - even saving - lives by teaching kids to swim and be safer in and around the water. We use our holistic philosophy, The Science of SwimPlay®, to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. In a class size of no more than 4 children to 1 swim instructor, children master the skills they need to be safer and confident in the water. Beginning as early as 4 months, children progress through a series of perpetual swimming lessons, graduating to higher levels of difficulty as swimming skills are mastered. Goldfish also offers special events like parties, Family Swim, accelerated Jump Start Clinics and our Goldfish Swim Force Team, catered to swimmers who have completed the Goldfish Pro Level. Swim lessons save lives. 🧡

It’s a simple message, but an important one, especially when we consider the tragic drowning statistics that remain true today.

Learning to swim is about more than just being in the water. It’s about building the skills that help kids stay safer. Skills like learning how to float, knowing to turn and move to the wall, and how to respond in an unexpected water situation.

These skills take time, consistency, and practice, but they make a real difference when it matters most.

At Goldfish Swim School, every lesson is designed to help kids build confidence, develop strong water safety habits, and become more prepared in and around the water.

Join us for the 17th Annual World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) – a global event dedicated to water safety and drowning prevention. Since 2010, more than 448,000 children and adults have participated in WLSL lessons on six continents at over 6,300 locations, including Goldfish Swim School - Winter Park! Participation couldn't be easier: Everyone who is already signed up for regular Thursday lessons will be automatically eligible, but anyone is welcome to book makeups or casuals that day in order to participate.
Families can sign in at the front desk, and all swimmers will receive a certificate thanking them for their participation.
