What a day. Where to even start.

I will start by saying thank you to Craig And Hayden and the entire Bushey racing team and to Jared Blake and Amber Granger because without all of them, my day would have ended after two practice laps. And thank you to Eric Messier and his crew for lending me a battery charger and tester so that we could figure out what I needed.

I’m pretty sure if I didn’t have bad luck I wouldn’t have any luck at all. And I’d be lying if I said it was beginning to weigh on me.

When I went out for practice number one, the car was bogging down and not handling well at all. I brought it in and that’s when we determined it needed an alternator. So Jared and Amber ran to the parts store and swapped it and grabbed a new battery as well. Made it out just in time for the final practice.

The car was still not handling well so I brought it in. Come to find out the left rear brake was bound up or dragging. So Craig fixed that and I started my qualifying heat race in second.
As the race went on, I just seemed to go backwards. On the final lap I felt some thing break but wasn’t sure what. It ended up being the CV axel shaft. That ended my day.

I’m not a quitter and I owe it to myself, my sponsors, my team and my fans to continue trying. It hasn’t been a great start but I will keep moving forward for now.

It has been an incredibly rough start to the season, and I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t been discouraging at best. Racing is full of highs and lows, and right now it feels like I’ve seen more than my share of challenges.

Through it all, I am incredibly thankful for the support, encouragement, and belief so many of you continue to show. The messages, conversations, and cheers mean more than you know. They are truly what keep me motivated to keep digging, keep learning, and keep pushing forward.

Giving up has never been an option. I will keep working, keep improving, and eventually the results will come. Thank you for sticking with me through the tough days as well as the good ones. Your support means everything. ❤️🏁
