‼️Our HBAR Scholarship will open September 1st at 8:00am and will close September 30th at 12:00am. ‼️Attached is the rules of the scholarship. SCHOLARSHIP RULES:
Please read carefully.
1. This scholarship application is for participants with a current medical need. Examples of what the funds could be used for: Out of pocket medical expenses: Dental,Health,Vision,Prescription, Durable Medical Equipment, Glasses, Leg braces, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Home renovations to make home more handicap accessible, Medical devices used for daily functioning, Respite care, Day Center care, Special needs camp opportunities, Adaptive sports participation, Therapy, Assistive technology (screen readers, speech-to-text software, Braille displays) etc.
2. Applicants must be a 2026 rodeo contestant AND have participated a minimum of one previous year.
3. Applications will close at 12:00am on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026. No late applications will be accepted.
4. Applications will be reviewed by a committee and announced at the rodeo on October 17, 2026. The committee's decision is final.
5. The chosen recipient will have up to one year to use the funds. Unused monies will be returned to the scholarship fund for future awards.
6. Applicants, or someone on their behalf, must complete the entire application.
7. The chosen recipient will be expected to provide payment information to Sarah Hollie and/or Jena Brewer so that the entity will be paid directly from Hollie Brewer Adaptive Rodeo, Inc.
8. Individuals may be awarded this scholarship only once.
***We will be giving away 2 $1000 scholarships. One will be 21 and under and 22 and up. There will be 2 separate links for these applications.
