A gift from the GM of our training facility made me this awesome canvas of the different belt ranks in adult Gracie as the background and one of my coaching phrases over the top of it…I would love to believe it’s because I’m an awesome boss but I know better…..Not time for a raise ha ha ha.

I love Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and I love this quote so it’s a great blend of 2 things that make me smile.

If you train hand to hand, you wash your clothes, you stretch, you workout, you eat well, you@clean your Gi, you clean the mats, the mits, the gloves, the wraps etc.

If you drive a car you change the oil, wiper fluid, air in the tires, gas in the tank, wheels rotated and balanced etc.

If you shoot, clean your weapons, especially if you carry them for personal safety out and about like your or for home invasion it’s strategically placed somewhere, CLEAN YOUR FI****MS

Many different opinions on how often or when should you clean them??? Do you know when your car is dirty and finally needs a wash or detail? It’ll drive but it always drives nicer when maintained…Same thing with your fi****ms.

Fi****ms is a strong passion of mine and an important part of my profession. Most of the time I only get to dry fire. I get to an indoor range when time permits to sync my dry fire with the explosion. I love working fundamentals. Of course I LOVE outdoor shooting or courses etc but finding time proves challenging. You know what?? Time to book one!
