🎃 Tonight’s practice was all about celebrating Halloween!

Our girls came dressed in their costumes, played games, and ended the evening with special surprise Boo Buckets! 👻🧡

It was a fun way to celebrate together and treat our girls after all their hard work this season. A great night was had by all! 🖤

🖤🤍 One last BIG thank-you to Roseburg Disposal! 🤍🖤

From all of us at Douglas County Cheer, thank you for supporting our cheerleaders and being part of our DC Cheer family! Your generosity helps us keep youth cheer affordable and gives local kids opportunities to build confidence, make friendships, and share their spirit with our community.

We may be late to the posting party, but there’s no expiration date on being this proud! 🎉

Congratulations to DC Cheer alumna Savanah Jackson on winning 1st Place at the OCCA All State Cheer competition! 🏆

Savanah got her start in cheer right here at DC before moving on to competition cheer with GJC and then high school cheer at Douglas. Watching her journey from those first cheers to this incredible accomplishment has given us so much to smile about!

Savanah, we love you and are so proud of you! Your hard work and dedication are taking you places, and we know you’re going to go far. No matter where cheer or life takes you, you’ll always be part of our DC family. Keep shining—we’ll always be cheering for you! 🖤

It’s Flashback Friday! 🖤🤍 This week, we’re looking back at some of the cheerleaders who have made DC Cheer so special over the last 10 years.

So many smiles, friendships, and memories—and each cheerleader has added something special to our story. Enjoy these familiar faces from a decade of DC! 📣

We had the honor of welcoming Special Olympics of Douglas County to our DC Cheer practice, and what a wonderful time we had! 💙 We loved spending time with the athletes, teaching them a couple of cheers, and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.

A special thank you to coordinators Frank and Robyn Ranee Reedy, the caregivers and families, and most of all, the athletes for coming to hang out and cheer with us! You made our practice extra special, and we’re so happy we had the chance to get to know you.

You’re our new best friends! 💙📣

First Choice Health Insurance, you’ve had a place on our team this season, even without the poms! 📣💙

Your sponsorship helped our cheerleaders spend their 10th anniversary season doing what they love while representing our community. We’re proud to have had your support along the way.

One more big thank-you from all of us at DC Cheer! 🖤

🎃 There’s still time to help us fill our Boo Baskets!

We’re collecting Halloween items, candy, treats, and small goodies to give our cheerleaders a little extra Halloween fun. If anyone in the community would still like to contribute, our donation deadline is Tuesday, October 27!

As we head toward the end of the season, we’d love to spoil these deserving cheerleaders who have worked hard, supported one another, and given back to our community. A little Halloween surprise is a fun way to celebrate all they’ve done! 🧡

Message us if you’d like to help! 👻

Today, we’re sending one more heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joe Howard D.D.S. for helping make those moments possible. Your sponsorship helps keep DC Cheer affordable and gives local kids the chance to learn, build confidence, and take pride in being part of a team.

Thank you, Dr. Howard, for giving us another reason to smile this season! 📣

There’s a lot that happens before our cheerleaders step into a parade route or onto the sidelines—and sponsors like Umpqua Health help make those moments possible. 📣

As our 10th Anniversary Season winds down, we’re sending Umpqua Health one more heartfelt thank you for supporting DC Cheer. When our team looks back on this year’s memories, we hope you know you helped make them happen! 🖤🤍
