🌟 Sunday Spotlight 🌟

This week’s Sunday Spotlight cheerleader, chosen by the coaches, is Hailee! 💙🖤🤍

Hailee is in her first season with DC Cheer after attending our clinic last year, and we are so glad she decided to join the team! From day one, she has brought a smile to every practice along with her fun, happy, and sassy personality.

What stands out most about Hailee is her determination. Even though she came into the season with a wrist injury, she continues to work hard, give her best effort, and tackle every challenge with a positive attitude. She never lets obstacles stop her from trying her hardest and being a great teammate.

We love watching her confidence grow each week and are excited to see all she accomplishes this season.

We want to give a huge congratulations to Evelyn for being recognized at school with an award for Empathy! 🎉

As coaches, we love seeing our cheerleaders work hard, learn new skills, and grow in confidence—but what makes us even prouder is seeing them recognized for the kind of person they are. Evelyn has a caring heart and always looks out for others, and it’s wonderful to see that noticed by her teachers and school community.

Awards for kindness, compassion, and understanding others are some of the most meaningful awards a person can receive. We are incredibly proud of you, Evelyn, and honored to have you as part of our DC Cheer family! 💙📣

This week we’re throwing it back to 2022 when Savannah, Evelyn, and Serenity were showing off our Grand Champion Melon Festival Parade Trophy and being their silly selves! 🏆💙

These three were a huge part of DC Cheer, and if you’ve been around practice this week, you may have spotted a couple of familiar faces. As DC Cheer alumni, they’ve been volunteering their time helping our coaches and sharing their experience with our current cheerleaders.

We love seeing former DC Cheerleaders come back to give back to the program that helped shape them. ❤️

Our very first Sunday Spotlight is Josie!

Josie is new to DC Cheer and brand new to the world of cheerleading this season! From day one she has come in with enthusiasm, a big smile, and a willingness to work hard. She always shows up ready to learn, gives her best effort at practice, and always has a smile on her face.

Flashback Friday 📣🖤🤍

Taking it back to 2021 when the Applebee’s TikTok dance trend was everywhere… and our DC girls decided to take things to the next level! Instead of just doing the trend, we packed up the team and headed to our local Roseburg Applebee’s to perform it right outside the restaurant. 😂🍎

Moments like these are what DC Cheer has always been about — making memories, having fun, and not being afraid to be a little silly together. Looking back at these faces and these memories makes us realize just how many amazing moments we’ve shared over the years.
