Tip 2:

Skip the bread and rolls! It's common to find, in most family restaurants, a bread basked with your meal. Just skip it (unless its a fresh baked loaf or some really special bread).

If you cannot resist temptation ask for it to be taken away.

If you can't skip the bread, at least skip the butter. You heard us, eat it plain. Whole grain bread is delicious all by itself.

Our weekend tips for this weekend will be about how you can lower the amount of calories you intake when eating out; Some of these priceless tips can really help you enjoy a night out when you're trying to watch your diet.

Tip 1:

Don't super size! The size you ordered is enough. Stop super sizing will help you save money. Better still when ordering a dinner ask for an additional plate, and share the dinner with a friend or partner and you can split the cost straight down the middle.

Another option is to order from the "appetizer" menu. Two people could order three appetizer's, one dessert and split the whole thing and it's still a ton of food.

A huge day yesterday for Team USA with the Women's Team All Round for Gymnastics, Katie Ledecky, Michael Phelps and the 4x200m swimming team all winning Gold last night.
